This company are the most unprofessional outfit I have ever dealt with. They don't return calls or emails and make lot of mistakes. Avoid them at all costs.

So basically, I went there just for an apostelle stamp which I didn't get it and I paid 190 for 2 documents just to certified them and I still have to pay 60 to get the stamp through the gov.uk. I was there for 45 minutes waiting to get in. I could have gone in a different solicitor who would have been a lot cheaper and honest with me.

Rachel Reynolds handled my case extremely professionally and gave me genuine advice to save money. She was very prompt with the response and manage to tackle every issue. I used Paris Smith for my first property purchase - and the service I received was second to none. My conveyancer (Sarah Harris) and the teams Conveyancing Assistant (Jas Chahal) were very quick to respond to any queries I had, friendly and very knowledgeable about the entire process. They went above and beyond! From start to end I was always kept in the loop with the progress of my case. I would highly recommend!

Be warned if this firm is acting for your lender on a property transaction. They are happy to milk the fees for all they are worth. Under the terms of the mortgage I was liable to pay for the fees of the lender's solicitors (so my mistake, you may say). Despite my objections, I had to pay twice as much for Paris Smith's fees for the lender as I did for my own solicitors' conveyancing fees for the entire transaction (which was hardly complex).

There was nothing I could do about this, as this firm seemed to be all too aware. I am afraid I do not agree with the response below. There is simply no way that fees of around GBP3,200 on this transaction for a mortgage of under GBP100,000 were reasonable.

Critical: Value Make sure to ask how much they will charge you as often as possible, and get it in writing. They *will* invoice you as much money as they can get away with.
