There comunication is not very good and without constant chasing on our end we would not have moved home. They failed to tell us some basic stuff and overall messed around more than needed. Stay clear of this one guys and pick one thats more local so you can go knock on the door if needed.

I was sent someone else mortgage deed and personal details, I wonder who else has my personal details. This is a really bad breach of the data protection law. I called them and tried to raise I complaint, I was told someone would call me afterwards for this but no one ever called me, I found impossible to do any complaints, they made sure I could not do it.

I did not manage to speak with my solicitor over the phone until 3 months had passed since my offer was accepted. My emails were only responded after around weeks and 2 or 3 attempts. Those emails rarely answered my questions. They requested from me several times documents I had to sign but they had never sent to me. I did not know this until my agent told me I was missing documents, the solicitor never told me about it, I had to chase them asking what I was missing, they would often send me the wrong documents afterwards.

My agent called me several times frustrated because she could not contact my solicitor at all. My vendor almost pulled out due to the frustration and lack of information. I was very lucky this did not happen. My vendor was a builder, everything was ready and I had everything ready, yet the purchase took 4 months. I have been sending emails asking for a mortgage cashback I had through my solicitors for two weeks, no response at todays date.

When I first started with them I was assigned a solicitor, I did sent several emails for around 3 weeks with no reply until suddenly a different solicitor contacted me and moved on with things, 3 weeks wasted. This is the most unprofessional and ridiculous service I have ever received.

If I could give 0 stars I would, these solicitors are beyond the slowest we've had the displeasure of working with. Can't ever get them on the phone when needed. I'd keep a wide berth and go elsewhere if I was you. Avoid at all costs UPDATE! They refused to return calls and emails from our solicitor and the Estate Agents, insisted upon insignificant amendments at the last moment causing our mortgage to expire, the sale to collapse and left their clients homeless. DO NOT USE THEM!

Have recently used CTW and their practices are slow, out dated, they are uncommunicative, everything is dealt with via a letter even when all you need is a phonecall, I have also found some staff to be rude or short with their responses or to not respond at all. If you try and call their number its stuck in a time portal and you get a fax machine or a voicemail.

They have a docment portal that was designed to work in the 90s and their staff dont use it, cant really say a positive thing about my experience of working with them for help on a house purchase and remortgage of our existing property, its been truly a terrible experience and if yoiu have any sense dont use them unless they completley change the way they work its really poor.

5 stars for Natalie Collins, my conveyancer. She kept me fully apprised throughout the process. Quickly responded to my queries. Was professional, competent, and had her eye on the ball throughout. She was personally recommended to me via friends who instructed her for their own purchase last year. Highly recommended and will use again. Thank you

Wish I never used CTW. Only used them as was recommended from the estate agents. Zara and her assistant (Arron) went at their pace. They NEVER did anything proactively, stuff only got done if we chased, they lied at least 5 times that I can prove, and quite frankly the money we paid I'd expect much better service! I understand we are in a middle of a pandemic and things are different but honestly come on! If you are reading this then please look at other options.

The worst imaginable service. Never respond to emails, never answer the phone, automated telephone answering system saying the office is closed (almost all the time!). Terrible, I will never take an estate agents recommendation for a conveyancing solicitors ever again. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I tried to buy a property with the service of Cook Taylor Woodhouse, the land search found something dodgy and my conveyancer Annie Le asked me to reconsider. I ended up giving up the first property and later found another one, the process was smooth in general. As the end of stamp duty holiday was approaching, my conveyancer made an effort to catch up and nailed it. I really appreciate that.

Unfortunately I went with Estate Agent's recommendations. This is thus far the worst conveyancing firm I had to deal with. I'd give 0 stars for the progress reports - yes, you guessed correctly, there were none and I was never ever sure what outstanding tasks there are despite asking and chasing on numerous occasions. 0 stars for chasing outstanding issues.

Both the buyer and I ended up chasing Land Registry ourselves quite successfully. 0 stars for accuracy and attention to details. The final figure didn't match the breakdown on the sale day. 0 stars for supporting you as a client. This firm on the last day decided to interpret my divorce court order and act as an executor even though it was clearly not a party to the order.

The firm had 5(five) and a half months to query that, but no, that had to be done on the last day adding to the stress. Let alone talking to the landlord, that's all was left up to me. Avoid at all costs particularly if you are selling a leasehold flat like I was.

I felt that I would like to express in writing my appreciation of the professional and excellent service I received from Jessica Howard at Cook Taylor Woodhouse Dartford Kent. Jessica eased my mind about the whole process of selling and purchasing. She was always on the other end of the phone and kept me updated by email every step of the way. This was the best conveyancing experience I have ever had. The service was efficient, clear from the outset and personal. All correspondence was dealt with immediately and I was kept totally up to date with progress. My solicitor, Sara Collins, was exemplary in her professionalism, conduct and communication. She explained everything clearly in layman's terms and never refused my calls, answering in a calm, friendly and reassuring manner. I cannot praise her enough!

Our buyer has chosen CTW to take care of his purchase. I guess he must have picked them randomly and never took time to look at their reviews. The sale was agreed beginning of August 2020 and even now we have not reached the point of completion. They are a cash buyer so the process should be fairly simple but no, his Solicitors have refused to reply to emails and will not return phone calls from our Solicitors to obtain an update to what is causing the delays.

My Solicitors did get through to them via telephone once a couple of weeks ago and was told enquiries would be sent shortly but since then they have gone silent once more. We have our Solicitors, our Agent and the Buyer chasing these poor quality Solicitors as they are holding up the entire chain. Avoid

Absolutely disgusted by the way I just got shouted by someone called Kim at Dartford. I called up their office to check if exchange on our property was happening today. She shouted down the phone and told me it's not happening and when I asked the reason why she told me it's not her problem and she hung up. We are giving this firm business for 4 houses. Instead she tried to make it sound like it's my fault We definitely won't be using them ever in future with this attitude!

I instructed this company to sort out the conceyancing process on recommendation of Robinson Jackson. Our case was given to Amy Leach, and it was very frustrating to say the least. She could not provide any sort of advice on SDLT, told us to get professional advice, and when we obtained it from an independent tax expert and asked her to follow that advice, she stayed silent for more than a week, only to tell us it was wrong and we had to pay the enhanced charges, refusing to proceed with our instruction.

Only by threatening to fired them did they agree to follow our instruction, but by then I had lost confidence in them and ended the contract anyway. A waste of time and money!
