Rollits have been providing high quality legal advice in Yorkshire and beyond for almost 180 years. In 1841, New Zealand became a British colony, the first edition of Punch was published in London and the travel agent, Thomas Cook led the first privately chartered excursion train in England. Meanwhile in Hull, in June of the same year, John Rollit, the son of a local cabinet-maker was admitted as a solicitor and taken into partnership by local solicitor William Dryden in a firm that became Dryden Sons and Rollit.

Sam at Rollits did a fantastic job on residential conveyancing when I bought a flat recently. He pushed the process forward, kept on top of everything and relentlessly chased the other side when they were working slowly. I will undoubtedly be working with Rollits again for future conveyancing, and I imagine will be recommending them when friends are looking at buying
