Just wanted to share my experience using Eatons Solicitors. Half way through my Purchase, the Sellers Solicitors experienced a Cyber Attack on their systems, hence being non responsive for over 6 weeks! Eatons were very proactive in chasing throughout the whole transaction and kept me updated where they could, when we finally had communication from the sellers solicitors my conveyancer Jennie Adams, made sure we completed within a week!

Critical: Professionalism Shocking experience from start to finish. So laid back they are horizontal. Paid 1.5k over 4 months to get absolutely nowhere. Got a 2nd firm who sorted the job within just over 3 weeks and the bill was only 535 AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

To say Eatons have been dismal would be an understament. Staff didn't keep me informed and sent me incorrect information on a regular basis, meaning I had to double check everything that was sent to us, as I just didn't trust them. They didn't keep me in the loop with updates at all. I actually had better updates from the people that I bought the flat from.

Plus to top it all off they tried to charge me 20,000 more than the agreed fee for the flat. Do your self a favour and stay as far away from Eatons Solicitors as you can, if you value your mental health.

To say Eatons have been poor is an understatement. They initially quoted me a fee and then sent confirmation in writing for a higher amount. They try and suck you dry for every penny they can get out of you, without even making clear their hidden charges. They we're dealing with a previous sale which fell through, and when I finally managed to get another sale they carried on without telling me they were also charging me for the sale that fell through. Had they told me this before I'd committed to giving them by business again, it would've saved me time and I could've got a better quote elsewhere.

As it happens I don't have the time to find another firm as I'm trying to beat the stamp duty deadline. For your sanity, please avoid at all costs. Toxic firm which will add more stress at an already stressful time of moving home.
