Before entering into a commercial tenancy, either as a landlord or a tenant, it's critical that the terms of the lease are examined carefully by a solicitor with expertise in this complex area. Some of the many factors that need to be considered include: Do the premises meet the current legal requirements for the proposed usage?

We had an unfortunate experience with Robinsons and their conveyancing services. They were slow and often totally unresponsive for weeks on end, causing frustration for all other involved parties. We sent all required information in a timely fashion, even trying to make their lives easier by arduously highlighting key information from bank balances etc.

Despite this, several times we had to send the same sets of information because they didn't recognise that they had already been sent these. Furthermore, they also tried to shift the blame onto us at one point towards the end of the process. They sent us a set of forms to complete, with no notice and a very short window of completion. They then insinuated to all other parties that the process was being held up because we had failed to complete these forms.

This was completely outrageous, bearing in mind that we had been asking them to send these forms to us for weeks on end. I was recently dismayed to find out that a close friend had chosen Robinsons to complete their own house purchase. They have had a very similar experience to us and are at the point of losing the purchase on their first home because the sellers have become so deeply frustrated with Robinsons. Please avoid using this company. They do not seem to remotely care about your experience and are inefficient in a way that beggars belief.

Rosemary Hatfield-him did an outstanding job on our recent house sale and purchase, friendly, efficient and very approachable. We highly recommend Robinsons and wouldn't use anyone else should we move in the future.

We used Robinson's for a very complex business sale. Our solicitor and his secretary were absolutely superb and really went the extra mile to resolve all the difficulties and get the sale through. We couldn't be happier with the service and remain extremely grateful to them.

Rosemary and Jess are fantastic. Considering we are in a pandemic, they went above and beyond to help us purchase our first property, and we're very helpful with the whole process!

The conveyancing was a joke. They were slow, non responsive, extremely frustrating to deal with and rude. We lost our first sale, in part to ridiculous delays for which we were charged over 800 and meant that it took almost a year from the first offer to actually complete on the sale. I would use a dedicated conveyancing firm in future. The divorce lawyer only gave me some bad advice which cost me money in the final divorce settlement.

I was charged a stupid amount, including charging me 21.70 to send an internal email to his colleague which was merely a form from Land Registry. He also charged me for the time taken to raise an invoice to me, which was addressed to the wrong name. No attention to detail. The response to my complaints was derisory and they all appear to be illiterate.

I have never seen so many typographical and grammatical errors in a letter/email. Neither partner, nor the 'conveyancing executive' seem to understand the use of possessive apostrophes.

A very personal service and Rosy was easily accessible for any queries or concerns. She went above and beyond, taking an interest in our purchase and attended to even the smallest of details. She also fulfilled our requested deadline.

Worse solicitor experience ever! Extremely slow, rude, very unprofessional, very unhelpful, not responding to emails and sometime "hiding" when you ask to speak them on the phone. Started our sale process end of June with no chain and still waiting due to solicitors been slow and ignoring our case. Wouldnt recommended to anyone especially if you are in rush to sell or buy.

Used these regarding a family law matter, the solicitor in question, did not pursue what I had requested of him, changed arrangements rather than sticking to what I had requested of him, generally do what they want, when they want and take your money and then when you complain they see no wrong doing in themselves, advice is stay clear of these money grabbers! 500 to do a phone call representation due to covid wasn't even on the phone an hour! STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE MONEY GRABBERS!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value Please avoid this company. They just want your money instead of helping you.

Not a direct relationship, but they are representing our buyers. The entire process has been held up by them, literally months. We are on the verge of losing the house we want to buy now, and having dealt with them from the other side, I would want nothing to do with anyone using them to buy a house!

Appalling slow progress at the crucial latter stages of a sale. I run an estate agency in Kent and found this firm to be a barrier to a long chain of sales as a result of a lack of communication to other parties involved and being "too busy" to deal with urgent matters on the day of exchange when needed despite the request being made early in the morning. It appeared other less crucial work was prioritised.

I have to compliment Robinsons solicitors as they have been extremely helpful and professional and I would not hesitate in referring to my very best clients. I have used Robinsons Solicitors in Canterbury for both personal and commercial resolutions with very good results achieved.
