Services
Moss Solicitors Information sheets' is a service designed to keep you up to date with new legislation, changes in the law and frequently asked question you may have about your case. We aim to provide easy to understand information, free of charge that may be relevant to you. Some properties are burdened with an obligation to contribute to the cost of repair of the chancel of a local church.
Before you instruct us, we will provide you with a personalised estimate for the work, based on the information you provide to us. We aim to be as transparent as possible on costs, so we will also provide you information on any additional costs that may occur that are not known about at the time of your estimate.
We are constantly monitoring the services we provide for our clients, ensuring they continue to be of the highest standard possible. The information received from these feedback forms is extremely important to us and allows to see what we do well and where we can improve further. If you have any comments or ideas which can enable us to provide a better client service, then please email us here feedback@moss-solicitors.co.uk.
Woodgate Financial Planning Ltd is an associated business of Moss Solicitos LLP and was established in 2003 when we realised many clients did not obtain satisfactory financial advice. Woodgate offers independent financial planning advice to Moss clients, where appropriate, and is conveniently based in our Loughborough offices.

By far the worst solicitors you will ever have to deal with, should you make the foolish mistake of hiring them. My conveyancing work hasn't been touched because 'it's a lot of work so it has been put at the bottom of the pile'. Update a month later, still 0 progress, been about 3 months now. Promised a call back, of course it didn't happen. Will you complete this work before 2022?

Just the nightmare you don't need when selling your beloved house! In 2019 we have to sell our house, lots of love, lots of memories (our first property, newly wed and 2 kids born there) in the 9 years we spent there. Moss was strongly recommended to us by the estate agent as being fast, and reliable. Due to our circumstances we needed it fast and we made it clear since the beginning, forewarned is forearmed!
After 4 months we ended up with no sale, no buyer and extra expenses that should have been paid for by the buyer, all because the given conveyor was not competent enough. Before losing the buyer, I complained thrice to the senior partner, once in written and twice on the phone, every time I was assured they were actively looking into my case as it was something special or sordid: it was a normal sale of a normal house, the only complications in the process were presented by them.
One would even be inclined to believe they somehow needed to justify the high fees paid for a job carried by a conveyor. In the end we moved to another firm and were too sickened to ask for the full refund we were entitled (no sale, no fee). The other firm had much more trouble (CoVid-19 among the others) but still delivered in a very reasonable time.

Thank you very much dell, although I had to be redirected to another firm as Moss did not deal with what my case would have been about, Adelle Waring in the dispute resolution department was proficient and professional, and was very eager to help me find a firm that would have suited my needs. You are a credit to your firm and was a pleasure to speak to.
