Services
The Firm's policy and philosophy from the outset was, and is, to provide legal services to the least advantaged sections of society and to utilise the Legal Aid Scheme where legal aid is available to ensure that those clients for whom the Firm was set up were thereby enabled to protect and enforce their rights.
A career at McGrath & Co will no doubt, be a rewarding and challenging experience. We are a reputable firm with diverse clients who will provide you with quality, and variety of work experience for your development path. The Criminal department at McGrath & Co has undertaken criminal defence work, and been at the forefront of criminal defence services, since the firm was established almost 40 years ago. The strength and competence of our Criminal Department is reflected in the many cases in the Law Reports from the Higher Courts (High Court, Courts of Appeal and what is now known as the Supreme Court) across a range of legal issues, arising from the decisions of lower courts or challenges to the decisions made by other public bodies, such as the Independent Office for Police Conduct, the Coroners Court and the City Council.
We have nearly 40 years experience of representing clients in housing related matters, and we have successfully represented clients in the County Court up to the highest court (now known as The Supreme court). Our Housing Team is committed and passionate about ensuring that you achieve the best possible result in relation to your case.

Make sure you do not have Mrs Palo bailey as a solicitor she was my defence solicitor in a harassment case she got me maximum sentence - acted as prosecutor ignored every proof i had of my innocence, - ignore unlawful acts perpetrated on me, i.e. false witnesses, and previous solicitor Daniel Wayne from Purcell parker solicitors stating at case management stage that i don't deny any of the allegations made against me which is untrue ignored and never noted my version of events just as the two previous solicitors did Ryley Hayes solicitors of Wolverhampton and Purcell Parker i.e. video evidence of the events of the actual event that i was charged with? avoided me before the case ignored my requests misrepresented me refused to grant my witnesses or people who made statements in my case to attend court i could go on but there is a limit message length however I'm reporting her to the solicitors Regulatory authority and the ombudsman if you have any suggestions please let me know ps i give them no stars it only there cos you have enter a star to post it

This outfit needs to go money grabbing none professional. Chased for weeks to say they can't go no further with my case even when proof is provided. They hold onto you till the government pays them the legal aid. I think the legal aid should be given to the claimant not to the greedy solicitors like this one McGRATH & CO SOLICITORS. NOT EVEN WORTH THE ONE STAR RATING

Errol Robinson is the rudest most arrogant solicitor I have ever met. The man is all mouth and no brain. He thinks hes important because he represented the murderers in the Aston shootings in 2003. Good criminal solicitors get their clients off. Bad ones boast when their clients get found guilty and are sent to prison for the rest of their lives. Your better off representing yourself than being represented by him you'll get a shorter sentence.

I had previously used there services and been satisfied but this time the service was hit and miss. Case dragged on for over 6 months, at first I thought the woman dealing with case was just well spoken but later she came across as snooty, rude, arrogant and dismissive of her lower class clients concerns. In the end requested case be closed as outstanding work wasn't being done.
Will pay for repairs ourselves. Was informed that they would deal with claim for compensation at end of proceedings only to be told at end of case its up to us to pursue it on our own in county court (not worth enough money) when we could of pursued compansation outside of court but too much time has now lapsed. Just been left disappointed by what was once a good firm

They are money grabbers! And theifs! I went to them for representation on my trial and they asked for 500 which I paid and heard nothing back. I rang to be told they all are busy and to call back eventually when i said i want my money back i got a callback to be told they wrote to me, which I didn't receive and was a clear lie, I demanded my money back which took alot of chasing to be given 260 back as they had supposedly done work on my case!
By means of taking payment and attempting to book me an appointment! I have never come across such a firm who are so eager to rob their clients blind and who are so unprofessional in what they do. They really don't have a clue. Do yourself a favour and keep well away even if you have legal aid as they clearly are a bunch of cowboys who are only interested in the money side of things. A small and unprofessional money grabbing firm. The other reviews ring so true. Keep away from them!

Ann was a very rude arrogant women she didn't give me a chance to talk and when I did get the chance she spoke over me. She asked if I was in tomorrow morning no I said I will be back for 4pm then she told me IM NOT SENDING anyone out at that time as it wouldn't be fair but I'm pretty sure that's there job! Very unprofessional and I wouldn't advise anyone to go to this solicitors and especially Ann because if she was that rude no doubt they all will be.

Don't go there whatever you do. What the other reviewers have said is spot on. They lie, their complaints procedure is a coverup. All sorts of bad stuff. Their egos are massively inflated and they never listen. You're better off representing yourself. At my so called trail my solicitor even allowed evidence to be introduced that wasn't on any statement and she never intervened once to defend me. The firm from a nightmare preying on people when they are vulnerable Dave
