Our research shows that on average, 86% of cases result in payment at the letter before action stage, with no further action being required. You can learn more about the subsequent steps in the process that follow the sending of a Letter Before Action below.
86% of debts are paid upon receipt of a Lovetts letter, with no further action being required. A Letter Before Action (LBA) is a formal letter that requests the payment of a debt to your business and warns of the imminent issue of a court claim. An LBA sets out what is owed to your business from a debtor and provides a set time period - usually 7 days - in which to pay.
If your company is claiming payment of a debt(s) from an individual or sole trader, the protocol will apply to your business and you need to be aware of the changes. The changes revolve around increasing the amount of information shared between parties, to a sufficient enough level that the parties can understand each other's position and come to an agreement without court involvement.

I have received a letter from Lovetts Solicitors for the amount of 1000 for a debt I have never had. They haven't replied to my email when I responded I'm happy to go to court. Don't waste your time calling, it's a ghost building. They don't check what they are chasing or who they are chasing. Their location does look very suspicious. Scam solicitors.

I would advise anyone who requires a professional service to stay well clear of lovvetts I had a terrible experience with them and felt lost throughout my claim. They use unexperienced paralegals who don't have the knowledge to represent their clients. I rang the main office to seek help on 3 occasions and never got a single call/email back. All they want is your money. Be careful
