Lamb Brooks handled the sale of my property and purchase of my new home. This was one of the most painful processes ever. Granted a few things did not go to plan, but nothing could have prepared me for the lack of guidance, communication and care from this firm. During both the sale and purchasing process, I was kept informed of critical items by the estate agents - the solicitor handling my case was usually not contactable by phone and would not respond to my emails for days.

One time I even called to ask if she still worked for the law firm. When the estate agents are the ones telling you that you have completed a sale over the phone and your solicitor sends you an email 2hrs after the event, you know something is very wrong. The completion of my new home was even worse. I had to chase them because I hadn't heard anything all day.

Finally I got confirmation of completion at 5.15pm and no one could tell me where to pick up the house keys. Come to find out the keys had been with the agent since 10am that morning. Good thing I was not moving into the property immediately, as I would have missed the delivery slot. I can appreciate that they probably have a high work load, but to not be kept informed about what comes next, where we are today or just ignore emails entirely for weeks on end is totally unacceptable. Whilst their prices were competitive, I didn't get value for money from these guys. I will not be recommending them to anyone in the future.

Highly recommend! My girlfriend and I used Lamb Brooks for the purchase of our first home and the service we received was excellent. We had a particular long and troublesome chain initially but both Janine and her assistant Joanne kept us well informed and were very quick and transparent with their communications with both us and our sellers solicitors.

Sheena and Lauren dealt superbly with my first house purchase. Communication was swift when needed and there was no stress at all on my part. I managed to complete within 8 weeks and chose Lamb Brooks at they weren't phased by the timeline I needed. A bit pricier than other conveyancers but worth the money in my opinion.
