When I called. A Lady in the late afternoon called me back, listened to the fact I am living in my motability car, victim of abuse, my entire situation and that another solicitor recommended them. The lady in question on the phone didn't give her name, said she would pass my case to her senior, and I would hear. Sadly. 4 days on, nothing. Its a weekend.

No wonder suicide rates rise, costs back fire on the main 2 services as in the NHS and Police. These days for all when seeking legal help. Tread careful wise as if it is a bad start then it will state not to be fully guaranteed you will succeed.

Solicitor was possibly out of his depth in this case and would have served us better if he had conceded this at the beginning. The initial positive "can-do" attitude soon evaporated and in the end we went elsewhere to achieve a resolution, so not a good experience.

I have used Jane Cole for numerous transactions for the past 6 years. I have found her to be ideal for helping with all the pre-transaction advice and different options leading up decisions made. This was not the best year to choose to sale two houses and buy another, and without the help of Jane Cole of Lacey's we would of probably given up at the first hurdle. We had the misfortune of being let down by various buyers three times which intern forced us pull out of our purchase's, however it took seven months but we got there in the end, due in the main part to the calm, kind and professional help we received from Jane. I used Laceys solicitors to sell my flat and purchase our house. Zoe Joyce was absolutely incredible! She went above and beyond and did everything she could to accommodate us and get us moved. Every call or email was answered straight away and she was really lovely to work with. In fact everyone I dealt with at Lacey's were amazing. Shout out to the really kind and friendly receptionist (so sorry I don't have her name) andJane Cole and Sarah Winder were also fantastic and so helpful. 100% recommend and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

We engaged Laceys to enforce a party wall agreement in October 2020. We have paid thousands of pounds to them for letters that have concluded in nothing happening. We paid 1800 for a Barrister call, from which we found out it would cost 40,000 to bring the case to court. I am sure we could've been told that before the 45-minute call and saved ourselves the money.

We have now had to involve the insurance company in the matter, and even at this point, having resolved nothing, they want to charge additional costs to us. So obviously, we have got rid of them now, and we will be working with a panel Solicitor recommended by the insurance company. Its been an expensive lesson and the loss of valuable time. Maybe they can do conveyancing, but beyond that, stay clear.
