Instructed HG Walker to deal with the probate of my late father before covid. Initially we were quoted by email, 8-10 weeks to complete the probate, but it took considerably longer, we were also quoted 4500 but but the final cost was substantially more, I did request an itemised bill on the 9th of April 2021, and as of todays date over 3 months later i have still not received the information.

They did lose a document( marriage certificate) so i had to purchase a replacement at my own expense. I also spent my own time chasing Lloyds Bank for a letter on there behalf. However the staff are very pleasant and polite, I'm giving 1 star as you cant leave a review with none. I personally will not be using this company again in the future.

No continuity between the 3 solicitors I was passed between and repeated mistakes and lack of attention to detail - not at all what you expect when paying over 300 an hour! Didn't feel supported or well advised at any time. If you read this - good luck with any solicitor firm - over priced for what they do, but I won't ever use them again.
