I will never use Judge & Priestley again or recommend them to anybody. I didn't even choose to use them, I was passed to them through the Estate Agent's recommended solicitor. Absolutely shocking service. Calls and emails unanswered. The sale & purchase of a property is stressful enough without having the added stress of an incompetent Solicitor. Without naming names the lady who dealt with me took both a honeymoon and a holiday during my case - and the stand-in was nowhere to be seen.
On the day of exchange I was sent the purchase contract - that had to be signed, witnessed and hard copy returned - so I had to literally drive to their office to sort it out. No apology or explanation from the Solicitor - if it wasn't for the paralegal's then I would have had a breakdown. I have left leaving a review for a few weeks so I've had time to calm down but I am still shocked at the appalling service I received.

Having been recommended by a friend I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from Judge and Priestley. My will was dealt with in a very professional, courteous and friendly manner by Hannah Kirkpatrick and exceeded my expectations. Above all it's the peace of mind I feel. More than happy to recommend to others.

My family appointed Judge and Priestley to deal with the administration of my late mother's estate. Our case was dealt with specifically by solicitor Hannah Kirkpatrick and was first-rate in every sense. Every query was dealt with promptly and with compassion - and we could not have wished for better advice and service. Highly recommended.

Judge and Priestley provided an excellent service, guiding us through a particularly challenging leasehold extension where the freeholder had deceased and was represented by the executor of the estate. Daniel Tang was prompt in reply, took the time to explain the processes in detail and negotiated well. I would recommend them for anyone in similar circumstances.

The only good thing they did was finally complete my property sale. I had to chase and chase multiple times with no emails being returned. I eventually escalated to the boss who delegated to new people. Outside of timescales, no communication, no customer care. I was very lucky I knew the buyer and he kept patience and also chased them from his side.
I replied to the end of sale survey expecting some kind of apology or care call but nothing. So I thought maybe a review would help them take note before their office becomes another charity shop or coffee shop. Please choose wisely before spending your time and money with this firm.

The bloke I spoke to was no help, arrogant in fact, my mother is in a home, gave her so called mate the bill and cash to pay with but pocketed the money now that's what you call a friend(not) so she got a threatening letter which I tried to pay in the end I paid it on line. No help what so ever and so arrogant it was amazing he must polish his ego most nights

Terrible service. They clearly take on a larger workload than they can handle and therefore the quality to the customer falls way short. I have been chasing for over 3 weeks for money owed to me and not surprisingly they remain unresponsive. It's almost like they're trying to keep the money in the hope I'll just go away. Disgusting. NEVER USE THIS FIRM!

These solicitors were involved in buying my house. While the process was smooth and I thank you for that, when it came to the bill at the end there was an extra 2,200 to pay on top of my quoted fee. I fully acknowledge that these were disbursements and the costs needed to be incurred but my estimated quote that I was provided was inclusive of disbursements and still increased by this amount.
I had never brought a house before and I had no idea what to expect and when you get hit with a bill the day before completion and told that I had to pay before the next day in order for the sale to be complete was just so unprofessional. They had plenty of time to inform me in advance especially since I called in and asked when I needed to pay the Solicitor fees about a week prior to receiving the bill was just wrong.
I suggest that you keep your clients informed of their bills and how much they should expect to pay well in advance especially for first time buyers who are new to the process. It is all sorted now and I thank you for completing.

I only gave this one star but if I had more options I would give is minus 5 stars. Terrible solicitors. They contributed to the process that made this such a bad experience that I actually regretted purchasing a house. They lied about key facts of the contracts, make you pay way more than you should and charge you silly amounts for things. If you want slow service, incompetent staff and an inflated legal bill then Judge & Priestley are the solicitors for you!
