Awful experience with everyone involved. I put forward a case against my father Dr Michael William Ramsden who is a barrister and specializes amongst other things in tenants rights, to his hypocrisy he left me in a house that was rotting, damp windows hanging off and ceilings falling down though this list is not exhaustive, severely derelict with no gas checks or electric checks except one which came back condemned and exceeding the emissions to a potentially deadly level.
He claimed i paid no rent despite me giving the evidence of the last twelve years from the city council of rent coming to the sum shy of forty thousand pound. I contacted Irvings expecting a successful outcome considering the evidence against him and my fathers position, but despite all of this and my father then placing the property into my brothers name to escape responsibility who is a professor in Hong Kong, decided to drop the case describing it as a tangled web.
I had the displeasure of being represented by a Heather Green who didn't seem to know what she was doing, yet with all the evidence including a surveyors report which the surveyor described as one of the worst houses he had seen in a long time and a damning report never went ahead. Not only are they lazy including the barrister leading the case but enable individuals like my father to exploit and use the law who ironically work in the legal system and us this to their advantage as high profile to escape justice and potentially are leaving others lives at risk.
As my father is notorious for renting out derelict and unkempt properties which I have witnessed at a very dangerous scale. My advice to anyone seeking advice on a matter similar to mine is to avoid like the plague because these so called experts are likely to abandon the case despite overwhelming evidence and leave you suicidal like they did me without any courtesy.

I contacted Irvings Law about advice due to a false arrest that i had experienced and due to treatment i received from the police was disgusting. I was turned down by a number of other law firms but the case was taken on and wow. perfect communication and professionalism was outstanding. the process was a little slow only due to the police and the pandemic, but i was kept up to date all the way through.
The advice throughout the claim was very professional. We won the case in better ways i could imagine with the result being very good. I would 100% recommend that you contact Irvings Law if your are in need of advice. I can assure you that you that you will receive the best. All i can say is a big thank you to Irvings Law for all they have done for me.

Don't bother with this company complete let down very unprofessional and they dony work in your best interest, they dont keep you informed they mess you around and unless theres big bucks in it for them you have no chance of being properly represented you would stand better chances of winning your case if you represent yourself I've gave one star rating but I don't think they deserve it.

Irvings Law have handled my case for personal injury after a road traffic collision and in my personal opinion they were extremely professional, understanding, responsive and were determined to get the right result for me and gave me all the advice they possibly could to assist me along the way. I would especially like to thank Romilly Houghton who personally handled my case and helped me through every step of the legal process and even went the extra mile all the way through her involvement in my case to get an amazing result for me. If you need legal advice use this solicitor you certainly will not regret it.

As far as I'm concerned this company is useless. They advertise as personal injury solicitors however the only work they seem to be doing is regarding data breaches. Not sure if that's just easy money for them because my claim hasn't been dealt with at all. Left in the dark about the whole process. I don't think these guys could fight their way out of a wet paper bag never mind fight to win your case. You will wait 3 months for a reply to an email only to be told nothing has progressed.

Contacted this firm about an action against the police. But after providing information, was told that 'we are unable to provide any further assistance in this regard' as it was not inherently likely the case would be won & no win, no fee terms could not be offered. Given that the action involves false matters of fact and the police have not challenged them, I disagree with the assessment made in this case. So 2 stars deducted as there is a strong claim here.

I contacted Irvings Law to bring an action against the police using their contact form, and about 5 minutes later I received an email back from one of their employees stating that "we have assessed the merits of your claim, and, unfortunately, we would not be able to offer you no win no fee terms as we cannot say that you are inherently likely to win this case." They then went on to say I was free to seek legal advice elsewhere.
The funny thing is I didn't ask for "no win no fee" terms, and the contact form allowed for a very brief message in which no real details were actually revealed, so it is clear they are either too busy or just didn't want to take my business, which I was happy to pay for. Incidentally, I got another firm of solicitors who took the case on and actually offered no win no fee after assessing the actual merits of the case. I wouldn't recommend them because if they are this half-arsed about initial contact then I wouldn't trust them with handling my case.

I approached Irvings Law 12 months following the closure of my case with a previous solicitor. After a while I felt the result wasnt the result it should have been and contacted Irvings. They were fantastic, in particular the process to start the case from very clear directive phone calls, to a meeting with a very switched on Barrister, and a few more letters, sitting back and letting them do their work until an offer was made.
I would recommend this practise for anyone as I feel they were far superior to previous experiences I had elsewhere. Highly commendable service. If you are fortunate to be dealt with by Gary Colvin then you are in good hands for sure, he is very professional and straight to the point in an extremely helpful but clear way.

I was referred to Irvings thru one of the TV advertised accident help lines 3years ago. Unfortunately the solicitor allocated didn't really understand my case at all despite myself supplying him with booklets on my medical problems. If it had been a car accident or a personal accident caused by a vehicle then no doubt he would have been in his comfort zone.
As it was, he was dealing with out of date medication supplied to me by a pharmacy to treat my insulin dependent type 1 diabetes and to which the pharmacy had written a letter of apology to myself for. Should have been an open and shut case. The case dragged on for in excess of 3 years with the solicitor getting embroiled with many medical red herrings - the end result being a pittance for myself and pocket money for Irvings. It was certainly not worth the stress and aggravation.
