Edward Miller from Freeman Johnson has been fantastic in guiding me through what has been quite a complicated option agreement and then auction process. I have felt like Ed really did care about the outcome of the project and I have felt confident in his knowledge and experience. Leading up to selling the property at auction Ed was very responsive to buyer questions and went over and above what I would have expected. Thank you very much I am extremely grateful Ed!

This firm, despite having eight days' notice of the proposed completion date, failed to obtain a redemption statement on the seller's mortgage for completion. As a former property lawyer, I am well aware that this should have been chased prior to the proposed completion date. It seemingly was not. As a result, the proposed completion was delayed. I see, judging by other poor, recent reviews, that I am not the first to fall victim to what is seemingly a lack of urgency and/or professionalism. Granted, it may be nothing more than a simple bricks and mortar transaction to Freeman Johnson but, more than bricks and mortar, people's lives are affected and they would be best advised to remember that.

They worked wonders fighting my battle with social services thanks to the York Barrister Chambers & overall wasn't a bad experience with legal aid in place however. Waste of time and money without legal aid. We were quoted 5,000 for the total cost before anything took place for access to my daughters. Unfortunately this didn't materialise at all & we used the same barrister chambers with 900 cash payments who were fantastic but for a private court case for access that was quoted 5,000 baring in mind 2,700 was cash to a barrister for 3 dates in court leaving a further 3 dates for a local solicitor to work my case which got taken over by the same solicitor who handled my sons case in another town which ultimately ended up costing a grand total of just under 13,000. YES LADIES & GEMLNTLEN 13,000 IN TOTAL FOR A SOLICITOR TO PREP WORK, TRAVEL TO COURT, REPRESENT ME IN COURT & A BARRISTER PAID CASH 3 TIMES.
Oh did I fail to mention I am back in court because they failed to nail down a permanent court order that my ex previously breached 2 times before & stopping access when it pleases her meaning I am now back in court for a 4th time for access but representing myself this time so I can get the job done properly because a solicitor doesn't do the work you ask them to & they're certainly not worth paying just shy of 10,000 for 3 court appearances + the 2,700 cash to barristers was the only worth it part of the court case as they & I trusted Freeman Johnson to nail the coffin with a final court order but they failed to do so whilst charging in excess of 1,000 per court appearance plus travel & prep & pointless phone calls to boost the pay roll aswell as duplicate letters & other pointless things they do to make more money. THEY'RE A SCAMMING COMPANY & I FIND NO PLEASURE WHAT SO EVER SHARING THIS EXPERIENCE BUT IF I CAN SAVE YOU MONEY LIKE I WISH I SAVED MYSELF & MY FAMILY THEN THAT IS ME DOING THE COMMUNITY A GOOD DEED.
