I rang for a free valuation and next day they came and took some photographs of our property. It was all posted on the web within 2 or 3 days. We had 8 viewings between the Friday and Monday and an offer was accepted on the Tuesday - all this within 8 days. The advice provided prior to marketing is borne out by the speed of which we received the viewings and offers.

Extremely professional service. Used Gordon Brown for their Sales Progression Service to save me time in trying to keep on top of the planned sale. As a landlord of property in Birtley I have found Gordon Brown to be very professional and responsive in a timely manner to any queries we have had. They have worked in a transparent manner with the tenants and this has allowed for a good relationship for all concerned. Wished we had done this years ago, our properties are now fully managed by a professional, reliable agent.

**This review is pending action from the Agent regarding the tenant removing items from the property which I CLEARLY stated need to stay within the property. You can see this within the emails shared directly below the review. They have either let my tenant leave my property and take a brand new 750 mattress with them or they let them throw it away (I'll let you decide which sounds more believable).

When I asked them to chase it up, they suggested the mattress was removed from the property when the tenant moved in (which is complete lies). The attached image is the mattress the tenant 'supposedly replaced my mattress with'. The mattress I left in the property was just over a year old and the springs were strong and well structured. The mattress pictured felt like it was 12 years old and the springs felt weak and worn.

Unless the company find a solution, I'm looking to take legal action to find a solution as both the Agent (Gordon Brown) and the tenant have breached the contract and lied to their client. They also left a rotten, stained and smelly mattress in its place (image attached). This was only noticed when I had to fly home (as I don't live in the UK currently) to check the property myself. This review is subject to change pending a solution being found. But this situation is unacceptable.

Very helpful through the whole process of the sale.we were very impressed from the word go.any problems that arose were all attended to and resolved. I can highly recommend to anyone selling or buying a house. House sold and a very happy customer.

This will be the third time I have used Gordon Brown estate agents. Amazing staff amazing support throughout the process. A special thanks to Gail and Sharon for all their help and support.
