Do not use these solicitors! My experience has been extremely negative. Several reasons, my Initial experience in the reception with admin staff( One in particular) being very inappropriate, unprofessional, rude and with a tone of accusation. This followed by, poor communication, lack of understanding of the initial legal request, failing to return calls, spelling errors, .

When I went in again to clarify paperwork received it was clear that my initial request was completely misunderstood. ( very worrying for a law company) I made a formal complaint and told the case would be closed, we then receive another email requesting ID to give authority to protect progress. Poor poor poor service!.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality AVOID AVOID AVOID. unelss you want to be waiting months for them to do anything. Zero communication. Caused nothing but stress and frustration.

Nick was brilliant so professional helped me through the whole process and got the result I was hoping for thanks nick top man.

Used MSB Solicitors last year 2020 The person I dealt with was Jennifer and I could not fault her expertise, she was so professional and always available. Which I must say I was constant pain in the side, asking all sorts of questions and receiving the answers promptly. I have so much faith in them, that am going back to use them again.

Me and my partner have just used this firm to go through the purchase of our first home. At first we thought everything was going great, we were sent all the relevant things to sign and we returned everything quickly, and we even received a call asking if our legal checks should be started as it was taking a while for them to be done which we agreed to. 7/8 weeks later we had heard nothing at all.

Whenever I called I was greeted by a person over the phone who made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by ringing up and I seemed to get a lot of huffs and puffs down the phone when asking questions. When I did actually get to speak to the solicitor she struggled to find my information. I had to constantly ring for updates, it's a good job I was on good terms with our seller as I got more info from them than our solicitor herself. Coming to completing we apparently completed our sale but nobody informed us of this either so we had no idea that this had been done until the next day when I had to ring once again for an update to be told I would be picking the keys up that day. I wouldn't recommend this company if you are looking for a solicitor to help with a house purchase and I wouldn't use them again.

I had a really positive first experience with MSB Solicitors. Esme was fantastic from start to finish. It was my first property purchase in the UK, she guided me through everything, was extremely approachable, super fast to reply to emails and always available on the phone to answer my questions. From arranging a second solicitor for the Deed of Guarantee to liaising closely with the finance provider, Esme went beyond the standard service to assist in making everything run smoothly. Jennifer Cunningham at the Allerton Road branch was absolutely faultless with our two house purchases (one sale fell through) - one of the few professionals throughout the whole process I could depend on for sound advice. Jennifer would always respond to me within the same day and I never had to chase her for work to be completed or a response to my questions or queries - she always maintained the upmost levels of professionalism and efficiency. Jennifer is an absolute asset to the firm and I would 100% recommend her for any conveyancing.

Never have I come across such an unprofessional company. Should you wish to win your case, please avoid MSB Solicitors at all costs. Email's, Doctors Rpts etc and other relevant documents not processed with the Court's in time to be taken into consideration for my case. These items were a major part of my evidence in my case, even though my Solicitor had this information for months.

They employed a Barrister, who did not read my court documents and who turned up for court completely unkempt looking and who was more interested in taking notes than actually participating in my case. I honestly would have been better off representing myself! You will find people who have wrote similar reviews, look for them, I wish I had of done my research before allowing them to take my case on.

It was an extremely stressful process from start to finish, had I the energy to put myself through all that again, I would have taken a case of negligence against them. As the saying goes, you live and learn! So hopefully this review will stop someone else from using this company, because you will not have a good outcome!

From offer accepted to completion on my residential property only took 5 weeks. Jennifer was my solicitor and was faultless. Constant clear and fast communication throughout. Documents were produced quickly and accurately. A totally painless experience from a highly competent company.

After four months after my offer was accepted on my house I'm finally in it. I was a first time buyer going into a house with no chain, it really should have been straightforward. Instead, I almost lost the house I was buying, I was right at the end of the tenancy agreement with my landlord so I thought I would have no where to live, and they quoted 840 (roughly) and my actual bill came to around 1056.

In house solicitors at estate agents cost around 1300 at most and it's just not worth the stress that I went through to save that 300. I had Debbie Kerwin who didn't reply to emails and was never around to answer my calls. I was told by a receptionist that she was "swamped" at the moment, I believe I'm not the only person who has been told that from other reviews I have seen, which just shows the complete lack of professionalism employed by these people.

I received a call from Debbie but then had to call her back and the receptionist told me she was unavailable even though it had been less than a minute since I had last spoke to her which makes me think she logs on their system that she's unable to take calls. I was blamed for not sending money into the client account for searches which is why they were saying that they hadn't done it (after waiting two weeks) but after they had checked they realised that they had received the funds two weeks prior. I'd give them zero stars if it was an option.

I really hope my review allows people to make a good call when choosing their solicitors, just go with in house for conveyancing or just do so much research into the company you're looking at.
