Purchasing a do-er upper, from a deceased estate going through probate, with a septic tank, numerous surveys and renegotiations was not the easiest ride but we reached the end with a favourable outcome and stress free. Clutton Cox were highly responsive in time pressured communication, never let me down. In both house purchase cases the whole team worked very fast to process them. The only thing I can comment as room for improvement is that the No sale no fee insurance can be better explained in their initial quote and provide more support when it comes to not legal topics.

Particularly poor experience, Help to Buy information given at quotation stage was not noted on our file. After a month of instructing them and just having everything ready to receive the contract pack from the seller's solicitors, Clutton Cox realised they couldn't act for us as they hadn't noted that we were using Help to Buy. Caused unnecessary delays that could have been avoided had they noted information correctly!

Efficient and effective for our House sale and purchase. They get on with it well. We pointed out a mistake on the billing, no quibbling by them just a quick refund.
