Services
David joined his family practice from school in 1961 and qualified in 1967, becoming a partner in 1969. He specialises in non-contentious matters including business law, commercial and residential conveyancing and probate. In his younger days David was a keen sportsman playing rugby, hockey and cricket, but now confines his participation to the role of spectator.
The original Askews Solicitors practice was established in 1933, and the principles of quality client service and professional excellence on which the practice was founded remain at the core of the business today. Our team are trained to be open and upfront in everything we do, including talking about our fees.
At your first appointment much of the information we shall require in order to fully advise you will be obvious. However, the most important information and documents which we will require from you at your first appointment are identified on the following sections for each area of the Law in which we act.

Critical: Quality, Value used to buy and sell property, poor customer service, lack of care towards a paying client, allowed purchase with out attention to detail, ove harged on final setlement figure. Askews are actually fantastic. I purchased a property, and also sold my property at the same time with them and Muriel G was brilliant all the way through. We have used this firm a number of times. They provide us with an excellent service at a very competative rate. I had a very bad experience with another larger firm of Solicitors in Redcar, however this company are lovely to deal with and very professional, faith restored. I have used Askews on two occasions for conveyancing and have always been very pleased. Jade and Kirstie were excellent working on our last move. They did a brilliant job chasing up a very slow purchase and chased us for updates rather than the other was round as it can sometimes be with conveyancing. Would definitely use Askews again
