At the end of the transaction or legal case/claim, we send out questionaires and stamped addressed envelopes to monitor what our clients thought about our service and to ascertain whether there were any areas where we could improve the service we provided. Here are the replies of those who were kind enough to return the questionnaire forms, arranged by year.
We review our prices several times a year in order to remain competitive so it is always best to contact us for a quotation or fee and expense estimate. This is a guide only. Every case is different. Features of individual cases can affect the price of the work and the expenses which will be incurred.
We offer a full and comprehensive range of legal services to both the private individual and the smaller corporate client. Our experts will guide you through the processes of family law, helping you understand divorce & separation, financial disputes, domestic violence, and the private children law.
Traditionally the profession talks about 'Conveyancing' services, which is the term used to describe the process of transferring land property/buildings from one person to another. At Salmons we try to improve on this and provide you with a service that helps to manage the process of moving you to your new home.

Pleaae AVOID this solicitors. My first conveyance fell through with Salmons. This was no fault of Salmons, but their tardiness and lack of work ethic and communication was appalling. I had to do most of the work/chasing myself. For an example, I was told that communication had been sent to my management company, but unfortunately there was no proof of this (it hadn't been done) and when I contacted my management company once correspondence was finally sent, the paralegal / assistant had actually quoted the INCORRECT address on the document request.
Due to poor service and a poor review, Salmons offered me a 25% discount to remove my review and continue to act for me. On my second conveyance, which was several months later, despite the above discount and the fact that my file was open with them, they refused to act on my behalf due to Nick Mason now being part-time and not wanting to be bothered with my conveyance.
This is all well and good. However, Nick is the only solicitor who deals with leasehold properties. Therefore this left me in the lurch to rush around finding another solicitor at the last minute. I had to actually telephone Salmons (again tardiness) to find out this fact, despite sending emails / letters to instruct them several days before. Please save your time and money and do not use this firm.
Go elsewhere. They cause more stress and anguish in an already stressful situation. With regards to Salmons response below - little work was carried out, so I'm not sure how they can state this was anywhere near 7 hours. Especially due to the fact that I made 90% of the CORRECT correspondence with my management company. Myself and the estate agents became very frustrated with the tardiness of the firm.
Even the estate agent now can't understand why nobody told me that despite my file being open - nobody was able to work on my new conveyance without me contacting Salmons first. Salmons have a very reactive approach unfortunately rather than a proactive approach. With regards to Nick's Ill health - I am very sorry about this and wish him a speedy recovery.
I myself have had a parental family illness and the stress caused hasn't helped. Also, unfortunately this does not detract from the poor work carried out whilst Nick and support staff were 'working' on my conveyance prior to this illness.
