Outstanding service by Keira Kerrigan. Overall process was quick and hassle free. I am bad with technology and apps. Keira was very professional, caring and patient. Due to some circumstances remortgage took longer and was more complicated and second person involved was abroad. However, Keira went above and beyond and got everything done within limited time we had left.

I am very pleased with service and how reasonable fees are. Would definitely recommend the firm and especially Keira. Once again thank you Gorvins Residential for outstanding service.

Dealt with both a house sale and purchase for me and have to say they went above and beyond and I do not think we would of got to exchange without Jake Kelly's help: Imogen Grosset dealt with our sale and was outstanding! We cannot thank Ruby Niaz our case handler enough for getting us into our first home. She made a very stressful process much easier by giving us regular updates about how the sale was progressing and ensuring all documents were in place prior to our completion date to ensure it went smoothly. We had our completion date pushed back due to the sellers solicitors and Ruby handled it fantastically ensuring we could move and be in the property the following week.

I would recommend Gorvins to anyone looking to purchase a property and you will be very lucky if you are assigned Ruby as your case handler. Thank you again for all your help Ruby, it is massively appreciated!

Gorvins recently completed the purchase of a property for me. I found the App to be extremely user friendly including the doc signature, assisted with a smooth transaction. Oliver Mills solicitor acted on our behalf and was easily contactable by phone. The solicitor acting on behalf of my purchaser went on holiday and didn't pass the work onto anyone else resulting in a delay holding up the whole chain who were ready to complete. If they go on holiday the whole world stops and waits for them to return apparently. Wouldn't recommend.

Avoid! Unfortunately I had to go through them for both the flat I was selling and the one I was buying and almost lost both because of their incompetency and lack of professionalism. We had to deal with Sophia M (I think she left now), she was terrible to work with, not responsive and avoiding her call. She made a massive mistake in the process and pretending she was someone else on the phone when trying to talk to her.

Absolute waste of time and money. Edit: I just read your answer for my comment, I'm afraid the first months of my process was with Gorvins LLP and not Gorvins Residential LLP, you remain under the same organization and business anyway. Also reading the comments below you're asking all the negative ones to be removed with that same answer but it's doesn't seem to be an issue when you're getting 5 stars from that "mistake".

Only pressing one star because I cant do any less! Absolutely awful service from start to finish. Which is still yet to finish after pestering for answers and getting no responses. Moved into my property 6 months ago after doing a land registry check a few days ago as I knew the solicitors probably haven't done anything! it appeared the previous owner was still registered!

After calling HM land registry it appears the initial application was put in 29th September 2021 but as they didn't have all the supporting documents it was cancelled as Gorvins ignored the request for further information, The new application was only submitted 1st February 2022 yet to await if that's correct! I would never use or recommend Gorvins Awful service & Awful customer service! Which made a stressful process even worse!

Had to change solicitors due to Gorvins being unresponsive, slow and generally just really bad at what they apparently do! They have also charged me 194 for searches this week - it has been over 6 months since I closed my dealings with them. Avoid at all costs, save money and time by going somewhere where they know what they're doing.

Initial communication was good, however the exchange was delayed by 2 months and an ongoing issue with lack of communication and chasing up Gorvins for updates. We received more updates from our vendors and their solicitors than Gorvins. Would not recommend.

Initially the service provided was good, however the response to emails and messages have been poor since we've completed the purchase of our house. An ongoing legal issue and Gorvins appear to not want to reply. Disappointing after a good start.

I definitely would not recommend. I have been trying to complete a simple remortgage and the service has been shocking. I have sent emails and messages via the app which don't get acknowledged. I have to say of all the years I have been doing purchases and remortgages this is my worst experience to date. There is no form of urgency or customer service.

All documents that have been requested of myself have been sent back within 24hrs. Just to be told the process which was started in October will likely be completed next year. SHOCKING Avoid this company Doesn't deserve the one star

Tom Atkinson was our case handler and I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. He was very informative and kept us up to date on everything that was going on. 10/10 would recommend

Gorvins have just completed our move, it has taken 6 months, at first due to our buyers. Gorvins initially worked very fast, to complete searches ect. Then we had a long period of not being able to contact them, no recorded messages on phones, or alternate resprestative offered to us. Apparently this was due to covid. Then towards the end of the process they picked up spread again, only to be obstructed by other solicitors.

Apart from not providing us with information or providing alternative contacts for several weeks they did a reasonable job. Miss Amjad herself was very pleasant, and helpful, and as frustrated as we were.

Had a brilliant experience as first time buyers with Gorvins as our conveyencers. We managed to complete in about 6-7 weeks, the app was great for letting us know what we had to do and next steps. The only slight issue we had was right at the start when our appointed conveyencer went on holiday and I think our case wasn't passed on to someone else to handle while she was away which meant there was a slight delay in getting the process started and we had to chase up. However, our case ended up being moved to Firas and he was really efficient and helped us complete very quickly - thank you so much!

Case handler would reply to 1 in 3 emails, rarely addressing the questions/points raised. Never once did she actually speak to us over the phone. Attentiveness slightly improved before she went on annual leave, unannounced, a couple of days before the exchange was planned. We relied heavily on our estate agent for updates and to chase them for information and clarity.

The portal used (Digital Move) was useless- no messages responded to and we received daily notifications that we needed to pay for the search fees for 3 months. Would not recommend based on this experience.

Absolute worst solicitors in the UK, do not use, no matter how cheap they are! Pay more and get a better service! Took 4 1/2 months to complete a simple purchase with no chain, mortgage offer issued in a few weeks, solicitors took 4 months to complete legal process! Once eventually completed, the mortgage company issued a cashback of 1,000 with mortgage funds, Gorvins kept this money for over a month, should have been issued to us on day of completion. Nobody takes ownership, nobody returns emails or calls, use this firm at your peril!

Gorvins is absolutely horrendous. Appalling service. You can't get hold of anyone. I've emailed the partners and heard noI appointed them in November, it is now August and what I paid them to do still hasn't been done so my house sale has been majorly delayed. Barely get replies from the solicitor, things are only done when I finally get hold of him to push things forward. It's not worth the stress. Currently contacting the legal ombudsman. Do not use them!

I purchased my first home with Gorvins and they made the process very easy for me to understand. Any questions I had I had the option to direct message my solicitor through there app which i liked. Chloe Linsley was my appointed solicitor and she was great, very professional. I would definitely use Gorvins again!
