I beg anyone thinking of using these please look elsewhere, 6 months to complete on a sale and purchase, we had agreed the sale of ours with our buyer on the 27th may, we had it agreed for over a month, all paperwork had been agreed and we thought ready to go, week prior the buyer got in touch with us direct as our solicitor hadn't be in touch for weeks, after days and hours of ringing all we got was 'he will call you back' which never happened.

Our buyer then had to postpone the purchase our house as our solicitor didn't email to confirm everything was good to go until 4:30pm the day before which was too short notice. I then had to make numerous trips to the branch in Redcar and refused to leave until James had sent a email to our seller to say that the agreed date was good to go. What was amusing was when i was sat in the reception another man came in and refused to leave as he was having a similar situation. ABSOLUTELY shocking service.

Horrendous service - called every day for two weeks, they said they would call back but have heard nothing - useless

Shame I couldn't give a negative star rating. Truly the worst I've dealt with

If it was possible to rate negative stars I would. Literally the WORST company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. One buyer has already dropped out partially due to delays from solicitor and now the second sale is one step away from setting an exchange date but they are completely ignoring all phone calls/ emails from myself, my estate agent and the buyers solicitor and have been for the last two weeks.

An honest review of Richard J Knaggs. I wish I could sit here and tell you that the myriad of negative reviews you seen on Google are unfounded and over exaggerated but unfortunately if I did I would be lying. We put on offer in for our house on the 2nd of February. A whopping 19 weeks later and we're finally in our house.thanks in no part to richard j knaggs.

Communication is non existant. I found myself ringing 3, 4 even 5 times a day just to speak to a receptionist. Our case worker Jess spoke with us once throughout the proceedings. We were lied to about certaining things being completed when they weren't. Nothing was done on their part to make this a streamline experience. When we told them we needed to hit a, long overdue deadline.their reaction was so nonchalant.

Well do it when we feel like it vibes. The only reason I can justify even giving this review a 1 star is there is a very helpful man who works there called James who seemingly at the very last minute rescued our property purchase from falling through by working very hard seemingly in the final hour. Bare in mine james was never meant to be the person handling our case file. But he was phenominal.

Never ever use this solicitor again it's been 3 months plus and they still haven't dealt with our case and it's a cash buy

I DO NOT recommend this company at all, I was buying my mam a bungalow and it took 5 months in total, they did not ring me back, did not answer emails, then had the cheek to email me at 3:30 on a Friday afternoon to transfer funds . I also rang after my mam passed as they sent her a cheque and surprise surprise no call back, I did get a call three months later to ask why the cheque hasn't been cashed, I told the woman that mam was dead and I left a message, her response was that it was not her department, sent in the grant of probate and four month later, yes you guessed it, I'm still waiting! I will never use or recommend this tin pot outfit!

I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone, no communication, rude when challenged and completely inept at their profession. the negative reviews are completely true even though they try to challenge them

I completely agree with all the negative reviews left about this company Their communication is appalling and they are actually rude if you question any of their failings They often don't answer the phone and even when something is urgent there is no rush to deal with it My estate agent and mortgage advisor said they have never dealt with such a bad company, as I haven't If you are looking for a professional, helpful and good solicitors these are not the ones

They don't answer calls or emails. Completion date now overdue and no idea where our case is at which is now going to cost us money we didn't budget for and still no end in sight.
