The origins of Burley Geach can be traced back to the end of the nineteenth century when a partnership was established in Petersfield between Percy Burley and Mr Prior. Originally located at 27 Lavant Street, Petersfield, the firm moved to its current location in Swan Street in the late 1920s. At this time, with Percy Burley being Petersfield's Superintendent Registrar, the premises in Swan Street were also used regularly for wedding ceremonies on Saturday mornings.Robert Geach joined the practice at the end of the First World War and the firm continued to expand during the 1920s.

Unfortunately, I can only agree with Mr Ainsley's comments. I have been caused the utmost inconvenience and delay due to BG dragging their heels, and have also noticed a definite decline in service and customer care. I feel I have been charged a lot of money for next to no service or advice in dealing with my late mother's estate. Very disappointed.

Having worked wit BG for many years we have seen a gradual decline in the level of service, the recent year has seen 3 separate solicitors on our contracts. Response time is measured in weeks or non existent, Locum's are used without success. There is no leadership of the practice and general lack of client care and good customer management. I hope the management can make some immediate and fundamental changes
