This is the second time we instructed Gill Bratcher and her team to carry out the conveyancing work involved in the sale of our home. Our experience again using WBW was outstanding! We will have no hesitation instructing Gill in the future when the opportunity arises. Thank you

A good experience picking up my mother's will. Nicely converted church and pleasant people to deal with. Experience would have been better if the customer car park was available.

1 star is too generous and there certainly isn't enough space to list all the reasons why I would ever recommend WBW to anyone. We dealt with them when purchasing our first home and they were the most stressful part of the entire process. We were 1st time buyers, no chain, mortgage already agreed and 4 months to get it sorted, and yet it was only down to myself and my partner and the sellers to push this through and actually get it sorted.

Here are some personal highlights (or lowlights) of what we experienced: - Lack of attention to details: countless typo's in formal documentation (e.g. postcode of the property we were buying was incorrect) and when these were flagged they didn't seem bothered at all. - Sending the final contract to the wrong address: I gave them my new address 2 months before, and yet the still managed to send it to the wrong address!

Then they said that they would 'have to speak to their manager' to see if they could pay for recorded delivery to send another copy. - A complete lack of customer care: We would chase, email, call beg and plead for updates and we received nothing. They didn't know what was going on, and I had more up to date information from the estate agents and the sellers than we did through them.

We needed to complete on a certain date otherwise we'd have nowhere to live, but WBW didn't seem to care about that and had no sympathy for our situation. And when mistakes were made, no apology was given until I pointed out how rude it was not to even acknowledge they were in the wrong, and I got a feeble apology but still no sense of urgency or care towards our situation.

It's a real shame this ended up being one of the most unpleasant and stressful situations as this bunch were a recommendation from a friend, but I do think we had bad luck with the people we dealt with. I just hope that the more senior members of the team know that this level of service is happening further down the funnel, and that they train their staff better in client care, and stress the importance of not making mistakes (big or small). Avoid if you can.

If you have mental health issues or depression and anxiety as this company will only make matters worse My partner suffers from mental health issues and has ptsd and we instructed Justin Osborne a partner in wbw to act upon a complicated matter over procession of a property the day before the hearing he informed us HE would not be representing us leaving us with no representation and not enough time to explain our case and instruct a new solicitor.

The main complaint we had was we was told some information by the solicitors secretary about how the case would go which alarmed us to which Justin replied it would be fine but ended up the secretary knew more and she was right and he was wrong so a very costly learning lesson for us. We called another partner and managing partner in firm to help us sort out the problems the solicitor caused but were fobbed of and emails were sent but do not replied to so I'm sorry have to say AVOID THIS SOLICITORS note this is only in our opinion
