Bakers Solicitors We are a niche firm specialising in the areas of Family law, Criminal Law, Motor Law and Licencing. We are not a 'jack of all trades' firm meaning that you can be satisfied we really are able to represent you and help resolve your problems. Ideally placed to serve clients throughout Derbyshire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and South Yorkshire. We are established locally but represent clients nationwide. We have access to lawyers who are able to offer advice and representation in all parts of England and Wales.
Services
Our highly experienced team will assist you in all dealings with Social Services and the Local Authority. Straightforward and frank advice whether you wish to issue proceedings in relation to children or have been notified that proceedings have been issued against you. Representation for those cases where the CSA does not have the power to deal with child maintenance such as income above a specific level or where the absent parent lives abroad. We are able to offer advice and representation on the dissolution of a civil partnership and related financial/children matters.
At Bakers we believe that children are better brought up by their family and everything possible should be done to ensure that this can be achieved. Parents who have their children taken into care are entitled to free legal representation and we encourage you to contact us as soon as social services become involved with your family.
Issues involving your children can be very stressful and emotional. Here at Bakers Solicitors we understand the challenge that parents face when you are in a dispute about your children. We can represent those who wish to issue proceedings in relation to their children, as well as those who have been notified that proceedings have been issued against them.
In most cases the Child Maintenance Service (CMS) or the former Child Support Agency (CSA) will assist, but in some cases the CMS does not have the power to deal with child maintenance and therefore applications to the court may still be necessary. This could be where the absent parent lives abroad, has a high level of income which is above a specific level, or where you are seeking a contribution to school fees.

My experience is with Paul Green as a duty. Very good. I have severe mental health problems and I think there would definitely be some personality clash on the way as I can get fed up of certain things and then theres rows lol But on a expertise level I can say I think for the field he covers this guy is very good or at least genuine what you see is what you get.

He will straight tell you his opinion on things some correct maybe some not. HE HAS A Very good eye for things and in my opinion is there for the client. Ive seen a lot of Duties or chosen solicitors in my time and alot really work with the police whilst dragging you up the garden path to get their quick pay day. This is not the case with this man.

He will be very honest with you no stringing you along And I felt in my interview I was Properly supported by this man. His instructions clear and also made any points clear in interviews to not leave me a lamb to the slaughter. Would recommend his service

Never used them as they never return calls, left many messages to speak to the solicitors and never once returned a call, when rang to ask why was given many excuses, if they deal with enquires like this then how will they deal with your case
