Just bought an house through Garretts solicitors, I can not praise Lisa Scott enough. The communication has been amazing throughout the whole process. The company on a whole are fantastic, we have had negative experiences with different solicitors but this company has made me realise they aren't all the same! Critical: Professionalism My experience with my husband was one where the solicitor dealing with our case informed the other party of irrelevant personal information that we didn't want them to know. We seriously questioned who this person was working for because as far I was aware it was us paying.

If you ever find yourself dealing with social services. Please do not use this company I used them five months ago now and have done absolutely nothing to help me or my child! Never keep appointments was made to wait three weeks for an appointment only to be told the day before that they have to cancel then when I wanted to leave there service, only then did they want to offer me an appointment. Without a doubt they definitely represent local authorities so please if you are in need of help with family matter do not use this company

We used Garratt's when we bought our first home back in 2019. I'm not sure if all solicitors are like this but it was an absolute nightmare, I had to constantly chase Michelle for updates all the time, it was only when I complained that things started moving along quicker and somebody else got involved. Most definitely won't be using them again, I would avoid.

My wife and I recently completed our first wills with Garratts and both the meetings we had were conducted in a very friendly and professional manner. All options were given and everything was thouroughly explained. Fantastic value for money also, as I had been quoted significantly higher costs. Preparing a will is not one of those things that anyone looks forward to but "chore" element of the task was greatly reduced (to a pleasure even!) I recently purchased a new house with Lianne, from offer to completion was 2 1/2 weeks!!! Our buying and selling experience was very bumpy, however delays were caused by the other parties and Garratts were quick and efficient where possible which help speed the process along. I was impressed by Garratts efficiency and all though the process was very stressful I could see that they were doing everything that they could to help the purchase and sale of our homes complete.
At the end before exchange Lianne hall our conveyancer was batting away all obstacles the other parties threw at us to ensure we eventually moved on the final completion date that we put forward, she was very efficient in calculating the final bills and transferring the monies due back to us at the end of the sale. Our experience wasn't great but Garratts were trying everything to help us and eventually it paid off, if we had had a less efficient conveyancer we may not have even been able to complete the purchase and sale.
