Poor service. This company has been phoned up for the last 3 weeks. Been told the solicitor has retired and only comes in to do certain cases now and assured he would phone back, as he is the person, that the person in question has gave details. Very disappointed, the service is shocking. I will try ringing again in the week.

I've used this solicitors for the best part of 20years. Lots of solicitors have left this year. I have been left very disappointed. Customer service is last priority for some. Had to ask for a bill to show what I have been charged for. Considering I have spent the best part of 8000 over the last four years I expected more. Like a phone call or reply to an email when requested. I don't think you should have to chase progress, everything is very last minute.

This company is let down by a very poor service. We almost lost the sale of a house due to a partner leaving the company and not informing us. We were eventually told after 3 weeks having had no replies to emails. We were told that lawyers cannot inform you when they leave but have been told but a friend who is a lawyer that this is not the case and agreed it is discourteous.
We were eventually passed to another lawyer and found the advice given dealing with an estate to be sound but again are in a position with numerous calls and emails remaining unanswered in what should be a simple matter. There is a serious problem here and find it unacceptable how we are treated as clients. I am writing this review in desperation as are keen to avoid a formal complaint to the law society. If you have too much work should stop accepting new cases.

During my business with FDR Law they have been nothing but exemplary. We have been fully appraised of all stages at all times and the couple of times I have called for a further update the staff have been friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend FDR Law to anyone requiring an extremely competent and professional law firm.

We have recently used FDR Law for conveyancing services within the area. The team, particularly Pauline, has been extremely helpful, responsive both on the phone and via emails and has given good advice when needed. This was extremely important to us as we live overseas and we needed good communication methods. The service was professional and we will certainly be using this business again!

Extremely poor service. We made numerous phone calls and very few returned. Solicitor arrived at court at 10.05 after being advised to arrive early (we arrived 9.20am) to go over details of case. Had 4 weeks to obtain legal aid for my son (which he was entitled to at the time based on LAA guidelines), but failed which meant the case got adjourned for another week. Received email with 1 day to court stating they could still not acquire legal aid, and requesting more details of payslips etc. which we had already provided.
Case adjourned for another week. Again received an email stating legal aid was not available and recommending we pay for it or run the risk of NOT having a solicitor present. Tried to pay for and was told we (as parents) could not and this had be my son, which by this time was impossibly as he was away working. Finally got this sorted and assigned a solicitor. Got an email/call the day before the case to be told the solicitor we had been assigned could not make it and recommended we adjourn again or have different solicitor (which we did) and he read the case notes the night before. I don't often write bad reviews as everyone has an off day - but this was numerous failings over a number of weeks.
