Established in 1793, we offer estate agency and a wide range of legal services across central Scotland. We seek to deliver efficient service in a friendly way. We will only act in areas of work where we have competence and experience. Our firm is forward thinking in its outlook, with modern systems and equipment in place. Fundamentally however we adhere to very old values - working as hard as we can for our clients and putting their interests first.
Services
We frequently have partners and solicitors speak on legal issues to organisations in Central Scotland. Topics have included guardianship, intervention orders, equity release, wills and powers of attorney, care costs, legal aid and others. We try to accommodate speaking requests if we can contact us to book a speaker on legal issues.
As Legal Aid Solicitors we remain committed to obtaining legal aid for clients where that is appropriate. Legal aid is available for a whole series of legal issues, including many child related issues and guardianship actions. Clients should be aware that a generous legal aid system exists in Scotland for people of pension age for preparing Wills, Powers of Attorney and Advance Healthcare Directives, which we recommend all people should do.
David graduated from St Andrews University in 1972 with an MA(Hons) in Economics and Modern History. David works primarily in domestic and commercial conveyancing, private client work and also family law. He is the firms Client Care Partner and deals with any complaints you may have regarding our services.
