Services
Family relationships at times can be strained which may result in changes in or requests to change arrangements concerning your children or grandchildren. If you are concerned about any changes that have happened or are about to take place, we recommend you contact us for some expert legal advice. If someone has raised concerns about the welfare of a child, social services have to investigate.
Planning ahead is something that we all intend to do, be it to provide for loved ones or to choose who we would like to help us in case we cannot make important decisions for ourselves. We are here to assist you in making arrangements for yourself or for an elderly relative. As we get older, these plans are more likely to become a reality so it makes sense to make arrangements now - we can help.
You may be surprised at the number of circumstances in which a claim can be made. For example a claim may result from a road accident, an accident at work, slipping or tripping in a public place which has not been properly repaired or from a work-related illness. In the majority of cases the accident must have occurred within the last three years.

Worst solicitors ever. Jennifer Roberts clearly didn't have a clue what she was doing showed no interest whatsoever and was extremely rude and unprofessional.every time I called she would say that she wasnt in the office when clearly she was! and never returned my calls. what should have cost me 400 as quoted by Jennifer to draw up a trust fund and and take a couple of weeks to set up (max) took Jennifer 6 months.
I raised my concerns with her superior.the outcome from that was a 900 bill and I was told that Thorpe and co were unable to assist me anymore and to register the fund I would have to see an accountant or a financial independent adviser this then cost me a further 400. So In totall what should have cost me 400 ended up costing me 1100 because of Jennifer and the company's incompetence. At my expense! The receptionist was a lovely lady and went above and beyond to assist me. she is an asset to the company! Stay well clear

Jennifer Roberts Scarborough Office was uninterested with little or no empathy in what I and my husband had to say. Showed her paperwork but glanced and pushed it back across the desk. Was in a maximum of 10 minutes for 150 and came out none the wiser unless we wanted to pay more, would have got more reaction talking to the brick wall. Used Thorpe and Co before but because of this instance would sadly put go somewhere else. We came out feeling mugged. Although the receptionist was lovely.
