DO NOT USE. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They are undoubtedly the worst company I have ever dealt with. It has taken nearly 3 months to obtain the paperwork requested, despite numerous telephone calls to them. Most of which were ignored. On 3 separate occasions the paperwork could not be found and I was expected to accept that. Rude and unprofessional is an understatement. They do excel it the art of telling lies, they would win an award.

To say they're incompetent is an insult to incompetence. They are useless. If you want something done promptly don't use them. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

After mum died we collected her will from Stephens, but to our horror discovered it was a superseded version of the will. After a "search of their archives" the current version of the will was found. Fortunately, mum had informed us of the amendments she had made to her will (at great expense!), otherwise we would have just accepted the old will, resulting in huge trauma to the family.

I found the service from Stephens & Sons excellent, always prompt to reply and very knowledgeable about family matters. Friendy and attentive, always helpful, I have no hesitation recommending them or using them again should the need arise.

Most appalling service, especially by partner. I've been waiting 3 weeks for a call back regarding a simple request. I'm going to complain with the law society. I understand that months ago the company merged and moved and therefore had a lengthy problem with telephone lines which is understandable. However, since then, my experience in my purchase matter still has been most frustrating. Updated: after my complaint was picked up, matters improved significantly. Highest praises to Amy P who has dealt with an extraordinarily delicate matter highly professionally and swiftly. She's made her firm proud with how she dealt with the house sale.

Five years of protracted assistance to Executors in a multi-beneficiary disputed Estate situation finally resolved. Several Solicitors involved over this lengthy period. Service, attention, assistance and communication with Executors most professional. Recommended.

Had a very professional experience which helped us all through a difficult time. Special thanks to Deborah for her help. I'd both come back, and also recommend the firm to friends colleagues etc

DO NOT USE! I wish I could give a minus! Emails not replied to, phone calls not returned, no information given regarding my Mums estate which took nearly 18 months to finalise, they were happy to take a few thousand pounds of it though! Passed from, Emma Baker to Emma Weedon to Polly Clark, Corinne Carville, Anthony Smith, Ruth Parnell and the icing on the cake, Jacqueline Shicluna.

This women was "too busy" she said to look at my Mums file. She was condescending, rude and would not let me speak by shouting over me. When I told her that I would report her for it she hung up on me.disgusting! UPDATE.Although i emailed the Senior Partner (Jasvinder Singh Gill) complaining about Jacqueline Schicluna, I have yet to receive a reply, great from a lawyer that apparently deals with dispute resolutions! I am now contacting the ombudsman with a view to reporting Ms Schicluna to the Law Society!

Sent an enquiry via website (Wednesday AM). Followed up by a phone call same day (Wednesday PM). Assured someone would call me back ASAP. Waited the entire next day, no call so tried to phone twice at 4:25pm (Thursday PM) no answer even though allowed to ring for ages. Sent second enquiry form early am next day (Friday) and eventually someone phoned me late in the afternoon on the third day.

I had already taken my business elsewhere and would recommend that anybody thinking of using this firm should do the same and go elsewhere. If it takes nearly 3 days to respond to an enquiry for business imagine how long it will take them to respond once they have you.

I have used this company for conveyancing purposes and have found them to be very prompt in contacting myself and others throughout the process. Very experienced and knowledgable, always happy to answer any queries I had. Would definitely use again in the future when the time comes.
