Downs Solicitors was founded in Dorking, Surrey, in 1836. Today, we offer a full range of legal services through 115 staff, including 13 partners and 40 other lawyers over our three offices in Surrey. Despite our spread, we work very closely together to ensure a fully-integrated, seamless service. We are Lexcel accredited, which means we have met the highest management and customer care standards that have been set by The Law Society. It also means we regularly undergo rigorous independent assessments every year to ensure we continue to meet required standards of excellence.
In our next Employment Bitesize webinar, we will provide you with information to enable you to raise awareness in your workplace around what women could be experiencing and how to provide appropriate support as well as flagging the potential legal claims available to menopausal women who feel mistreated in the workplace.

My brother instructed Richard Taylor to act as their legal advisor for a family property matter concerning myself. This solicitor who is a partner in the firm didn't return calls, messages, e-mails, didn't respond to my solicitor in Godalming. We couldn't understand the complete lack of communication. Finally, 4 months down the line and no further forward they terminated his services. I would urge anyone to rethink instructing this firm, and certainly do not hire Richard Taylor. As a family we feel completely let down by the firm.
