Yet all too often we neglect to ensure that proper provision is made for them after our death; either by failing to keep an up-to-date or competently drafted Will or, more often than not, neglecting to make a Will at all.It can be extremely expensive both emotionally and financially to sort out the mess and uncertainty that can be left when there is no Will or the Will is unclear.

Will not respond to my or my solicitors emails. We have waited for nearly 7 months for House completion. Mr. Hussain appears not to respond nor consider this length of time to complete to be frustrating. I would never employ a solicitor for conveyancing if they took this long. If you read other reviews, there are other customers with similar experiences.

If you want to have a protracted house sale, then I suppose the team of Kate Hill (legal assistant) and Jeanette Hutchinson (assisstant's assissant) might be a good choice. On the other hand, if you want efficiency and a feeling that the 'team' is acting on your behalf, doing what they can to keep the wheels moving, then this is definitely NOT the team to choose.
I have recently used MC&S for a house sale. I experienced dreadful service. It was slow and dilatory and on several occasions I was asked for details of information that had been submitted weeks previously. The only thing that they did without prompting and cajoling was to take their fees out of the proceeds of the sale! I would not recommend them at all. Sheila Ward

Kate Hill at Moseley Chapman & Skemp acted for our property sale. I cannot recommend Kate and her assistant Jeanette highly enough, they are a fantastic team. Having read a few of the comments below, I find it interesting that they centre around responsiveness of the solicitor during a pandemic. It is with this in mind that I write this review. This law firm has always been professional and dealt with queries in a swift manner - I think that criticism of this is particularly harsh given every business is going through a tough period. I have dealt with this law firm for several property transactions and cannot speak highly enough of their knowledge, attention to detail and their professionalism.

Massive no from me. From day you paid first amount and sign contract you will be chasing them for update. Have to call million times to get response back which were unsatisfied! Buying process took over 7 month and still waiting for redemption which is probably never going to happen. I used Coventry Road branch. Mr Hussain were my solicitor.
