A will or testament is a legal declaration by which a person, the testator, names one or more persons to manage his or her estate and provides for the transfer of his or her property at death. In the strictest sense, a "will" has historically been limited to real property, while "testament" applies only to dispositions of personal property, though this distinction is seldom observed today.
The legal process of administering the estate of a deceased person by distributing the deceased person's property and assets under the valid will. We deal with the assets and liabilities of someone who has passed away, whether or not they have left a will. The death of someone close to you is obviously distressing and very stressful.
