Sad to have bad experience with JMW. I live in Singapore, recently my property going in the stage of completion. This is my first property purchase in UK and i need guidance. But the lawyers are not helpful and not responsive to questions at all. I thought getting a bank loan is the most time consuming and difficult part, but ended up is my own legal representative is the one causing most of the delay and make me feel like I am alone.

Back to early days of purchase, I noticed that the floor plan in the contract is different from what it supposed to be. I didn't sign it and trigger them a few times but didn't manage to sort out the issue back then. With time goes, I had also forgotten this floor plan discrepancies issue. Till lately it's going to handover, I realise the floor plan shown in my contract is still showing the "wrong" one.

But after clarification with developer, apparently developer had changed the layout without informing me. The layout changed from a 2BR to 1BR and different location in site plan, although the unit number and unit size still remain the same as in original contract. After some consideration, i still decided to take it and move on. Because i truly believe in this project and the potential of Manchester to excel.

However now i am again stuck with the deficiency of lawyers doing things. The whole experience is bad, and it makes me wanted to give up the purchase. I am a realtor in Singapore, representing many of the UK developers to sell their projects in Singapore/ Worldwide. I would never wanna refer my clients and will also strongly advice my agency to avoid JMW as representative!
