For over 80 years Kingsley Napley has been recognised for providing the highest quality legal advice and services and has been at the forefront of some of the UK's most important judicial cases and decisions. Sidney Kingsley and David Naphtali decided to start a law firm together, originally named Kingsley, Kennedy & Co.

David offered civil and criminal litigation services and Sidney offered non-contentious services, in particular commercial property. After serving in the war, David (who by now had changed his name to Napley) and Sidney reopened the firm in 1945 as Kingsley Napley.

Most of our services are offered on an hourly rate basis and as many of our clients' matters are complex and often involve multiple parties, there is rarely a typical case. Our clients are given an estimate of costs after our initial meeting or as part of the engagement process. However, there are some areas where we are able to be more indicative of our fees.

Fascinating how many Law firms post Pro-Bono, Legal-Aid on their Website pages, but when calling to enquire your quickly told "sorry we don't do pro-bono/ legal aid". Misleading the general public. Post how many pro-bono and legal aid cases you have dealt with for members of the public? Very few if any I suggest. Very easy to mislead people. If you are a member of public looking for assistance in either pro-bono or legal aid, don't bother with this firm.
