Good solicitors to use if selling a property. Although communications could have been a little bit better (I'd be waiting for up to a week for a reply to my e-mail questions and the estate agent also had to help out at one point with opposing solicitor questions as my solicitor hadn't forward them on). They got the job done though with minimal fuss.
My main solicitor (Bill Osborn) was really good and so friendly on the phone, explaining anything I was unsure of. He was quick at the end too, ensuring everything was completed on time. As long as you don't mind prodding I'd recommend them!

I don't think there are any good solicitors out there, but BPL were a joke. Simple things were missed whilst trying to purchase my property and I started having to do their job for them, flagging issues and picking up missed details in the paperwork. This culminated in the whole purchase nearly falling through because of their incompetence and ended up costing me thousands of extra to remedy.
There were many additional costs thrown in with little explanation and the hope I would just cough up the money, when I sourced the insurances from other places for much less they still wanted to charge me. They were not working for me but for themselves.
