This may well be the best law firm for conveyancing! We recently bought a flat in a new development and JLO were on the panel of law firms. We were very dubious at first as our experience of law firms in this sector was that they provided very poor service; were impossible to contact; never able to speak to the same person twice etc. All of our preconceptions were confounded! Ash Hamrahian and his colleagues could not have been more helpful, more immediately responsive and understanding of our issues.

The transaction itself went as smoothly as it is possible to imagine. Everything was clearly explained and documentation delivered on time. The fees were extremely reasonable as well. We would totally recommend this firm and would certainly use them again.

Last year during the height of 'no stamp duty madness' we tried 10+ solicitors to get a quote for our sale and purchase only one solicitors had the courtesy and professionalism to reply. Alexander JLO. Due to difficult communication with property management developer our sale was somewhat tedious but nevertheless Boray and his team worked hard to meet the deadline we needed to meet. Updates were prompt and professional and I would certainly use this solicitors again.

If I could give 0 stars for the service I received I would. Myself and my partner used Alexander JLO's services whilst buying our first property and the entire process was a mess. Our solicitor Margaret was unresponsive, unaware of where we were in the process, and even sent our personal details to the wrong solicitors which not only left us furious however with a lack of trust in her and the firm.

We made a formal complaint and haven't had any update on this as of yet however I would not recommend Alexander JLO to anyone. We are still extremely unhappy with our personal details being shared and the service we received overall.

I had an excellent experience with my house purchase from Alexander JLO. Margaret, Nazima and Natalie were very responsive, proactive and professional. They were able to work to a tight deadline in spite of complications related to the local council, Christmas holidays and a delayed transfer of funds. Response/Update: I leave reviews after the service has been provided. I'm just warning others of my bad experience. I should have read the Google reviews, I'm more than 8 months in with them on my htb process. I'm convinced they don't know what they are doing. I will most definitely NOT be using these solicitors ever again. Avoid them if: You want your process to go through smoothly.

You want them to actually be able to communicate with the developers. You don't want to wait almost a year. You want attention to detail. You want a professional service. Also we paid a lot of money trying to get documents sent over quickly and for the process to move more quickly, but don't waste your time as they are SLOW.

Purchasing our first property, we couldn't ask for better support, any questions were answered quickly and always in a polite manner. Never left with doubts. Highly recommended.
