BIKELINE is a complete package, designed by a bike and motorbike riding solicitor, we specialise in cycle and motorcycle accident claims. It is important that you insist on police taking a report of your accident, even if they try to say you don't need to report it because insurance details have been provided, or your injuries are 'minor'. If the incident involves another vehicle, even if you think you have all of their details, circumstances can still arise where your claim may turn into a claim which has to be dealt with by the Motor Insurers' Bureau (see What if the other driver is uninsured/didn't stop).

BIKELINE (a trading name of Alyson France & Co. Solicitors) was founded in 1998 by solicitor Alyson France, a keen biker and ex-professional racing cyclist. The Firm has successfully helped thousands of riders injured in cycle or motorcycle accidents over the years and continues to offer a dedicated, friendly, efficient and modern service.
There are many circumstances in which you can claim compensation if you have had an accident. However, it is important to remember that sometimes an accident is just that - an accident! In most circumstances in England & Wales you can only claim compensation if someone is legally to blame for your accident.
There are a number of questions that are asked by most people about their claim. Hopefully this will answer some of them but please feel free to ask if your questions are not answered here. This depends partly on how co-operative the Defendant's insurers are and partly on how long you take to recover from your injuries.
A claim is classed as a 'small claim' by the courts if the value of your non-injury losses and expenses is 10,000 or less. In terms of injuries, the general rule used to be that a 'small claim' was if the value of your injuries was 1,000 or less, regardless of the type of accident. That has now changed and the rules are a little more complicated.
