It can mean penalty points that can push you over the edge and into disqualification from driving. It can also cost you a lot of money either in a fine or in higher car insurance premiums. Obeying the speed limit is important but when you get caught on the wrong side of the limit you need expert help.

These offences can range from relatively minor to very serious breaches of road traffic law. Careless driving can lead to disqualification from driving. Dangerous driving convictions lead to mandatory disqualification aka dangerous driving penalty/ careless driving fine.
Careless or inconsiderate driving or a Section 3 Offence, is where driving is considered to be below the standard expected of a competent and careful driver or to be driving that is inconsiderate.
It can include allegations of following too closely, failing to observe road markings, undertaking, causing a collision with another vehicle or object, or failing to stop in accordance with traffic controls.

Drink Driving has increasingly become a target of the Crown and Police Scotland. Campaigns strategically undertaken by the Police at key points in the calendar have given rise to greater public awareness over recent years. Greater social responsibility has kept the number of offenders down but some still fall foul of the law. Additionally, the law has changed in some important ways, reducing the level of alcohol permitted in the breath, blood or urine of a driver.

Graham defended me on a charge of dangerous driving through speeding. I found Graham to be excellent throughout, very reassuring and professional. We prepared to take the case to trial however through Grahams advice and with consultation with the fiscal Graham was able to get me a plea deal with greatly reduced penalty points and a fine. I was very satisfied with the outcome and would recommend Graham. I would say I would use him again but hopefully I won't need to.

The service I received from Graham Mann at Blackwater law was great and I'd highly recommend them for any road traffic cases. Having spoken to Graham on the phone regarding my case he explained everything and told me what he believed the outcome of my case would be. Graham later achieved what he'd talked to me about and I had a 6 month ban reduced to 30-days and a 450 fine reduced to 300. I was happy with the outcome in my case and the professionalism of Graham and Blackwater law.

I had contacted Graham Mann at Blackwater Law regarding a Speeding offence. Himself and his team where brilliant and very good to deal with, I found them very straight forward and Graham discribed everything to me making me aware of all my options and gave the best advise on what options to take. I was looking at a 12 month driving disqualification and due to my job and personal circumstances this would have resulted in me loosing my job and personal matters difficult. After a few on going months with court appearances my case resulted in a much less disqualification which kept me my employment. Would highly recommend Graham and his team!

Graham was fantastic, he laid everything out for me and explored all my options with me whilst being very thorough and professional throughout my time working with him. This gave me the much needed relief I needed as I was looking at losing my licence. I had spoke to several lawyers regarding this matter one of which advised me to "take it on the chin and just accept that I was going to lose my licence". Grahams actions saved my licence and had the case dismissed without me receiving any points so I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I would highly recommend his services to anyone in need.
