If you're married in New Hampshire and are considering getting a divorce from your spouse, it's important that you familiarize yourself with all of the different aspects of divorce, ranging from how to file for divorce to how your marital property may be divided. If you have questions regarding divorce, Attorney Michael F. Mimno can guide you through what you need to know. Each state has a different law regarding the grounds for divorce, or the reasons for which a party or couple can legally pursue a divorce.
In many cases where married couples with minor children separate or divorce, there may be an issue regarding child support, which is simply payments made to the custodial parent by the noncustodial parent. All parents have an obligation to contribute to the support of their children and the amount they have to pay are largely determined by rules of the court, though courts are given discretion to deviate from the guidelines. These guidelines take into account the income of both of the parents, the number of children and the custody arrangement.
Divorce and separation cannot help but have some traumatic effect on the minor children. Although the children may accept and get used to the routine of having only one parent as their primary caretaker and seeing the other parent as part of a visitation schedule, the arrangement can become much more complicated if one parent wants to remove the child or children to another state.
Most newlyweds to-be shy away from the topic of prenuptial agreements - discussing a prenup with your future bride or groom can be awkward, uncomfortable, and even embarrassing. Prenuptial agreements, though, aren't just for those with millions of dollars; instead, a prenuptial agreement can be useful for anyone planning on tying the knot.

He doesn't respond to emails or return calls. He isn't computer savvy and delays delays delays not responded costing my family Hundreds of thousands of dollars of losses almost losing the home. His past history of losing his own property to foreclosure, is a sign of a desperate lawyer looking for money.

I'll keep this brief as I do not review much. If not for Michael I may have one of my boys living in Ohio! He was able to help me keep my son close to me with a favorable parenting plan. He is well known and respected in the Salem, Ma courts. I also went to battle in the N.H. courts with Michael after my ex and mother of my first son who was 11 at the time decided she wanted more money for no good reason and tried bullying me into a new deal with her attorney.
This was before I called Mike! A year later not only am I paying half the child support but I have a true 50/50 parenting plan. I can't say enough good things about Mike. He tells you how it is and never over promises. but in my case over delivered!

I had to use Mr Mimno to help me through the dreaded divorce process. I interviewed a few attorneys and felt that Mr Mimno had the experience to help me through this process. I was not disappointed. Mr Mimno was able to give me both practical and legal advice throughout the process and made a bad situation bearable. I would highly recommend him.

Excellent atty to help navigate the probate and family court. I have used him with two different failed relationships over the last 20 years, both ended up with very good results for me and my children. He seems to be on good terms and friendly with nearly everyone in the courthouse, and has a very factual approach to the case, that the judge appreciated. If you are facing divorce or other family court matters, you will be glad you had him on your side.

Originally I had one of the supposed "best firms in Family Law from Manchester NH". The firm was Brennan Lenehan Iacopino and Hickey and the attorney was William Quinn. When I went in for the original consultation I wanted Kathleen Hickey to represent me but was told that William would represent and I should not have any worries. William failed to bring up many points in a timely manner that would have originally benefited me and my children.
As a result of the William not submitting this in a timely manner the courts would not allow this to be used in the determination of the settlement. After spending seven figures with that firm I decided to switch attorneys. After researching and asking many individuals and consultation with various lawyers I decided to go with Mike. I would like to mention that my selection was primarily based on two points: 1) Recommendations from individuals that had worked with the attorney 2) Based on Consultation.
My feeling that the attorney I was working with understood and listened to my concerns and would explain my options and offer an opinion This went to trial (3 days) and due to the initial failure of Brennan Lenehan Iacopino and Hickey significant items were not allowed as evidence. This too to some degree hand cuffed Mike. Mike walked me through this entire "painful" process.
End result I got kids 50% of the time. This was not the end, within a month my ex wife committed many other parenting violations. Mike was there in the moment of crisis. He was extremely responsive and prepared. He responded quickly and kept me informed. I had to endure many emergency hearings due to her inability as a mother. In the end the parenting agreement was overturned and I ended up with full custody of my children, Very rare for fathers in NH or probably anywhere.
That is how bad it was. Mike made it happen. If he can do this for me, he can help you. It was a bad bad bad situation, that was rectified, due to Mike's experience and partnership with me as a client. You'd be lucky to have him.

Please do not waste your time dealing with this attorney. I do not have the biggest heart for lawyers by any means, but I have seen what this man has done to one of his "clients" and it just by far is not right. If you would like an ethical person representing you, this is not the person you should be looking at.
