Employed as solicitors to sort out my mums grant of probate, as they were very highly recommended to me. Was told between 8 - 13 weeks to complete from date of submission, which l expected. Sent a couple of emails after 8 weeks to see where we were but was told to wait longer as nothing had come back. My brother asked what was happening so James Davis emailed him with the same.
At 13 weeks l asked again and he said the application office it was sent to didnt deal with it any more. 6 weeks later it was finally submitted for processing. James had a least 5 opportunities to contact me about this delay, but nothing. All l got was an email saying apologies. The killer here is, in the same email he said someone elses application he sent at the same time had come back a week ago - should he really be sharing this information with me?
I think not. Cannot believe they are rated 81st out of 4701 solicitors in the country for probate - the other 4620 must be really really bad in that case. Cannot wait to pay the bill so l dont have to deal with these solicitors ever again. They are without doubt the worst solicitors l have ever had to deal with

Was trying to buy a house through them. Offer was accepted by the house seller who instructed Fraser Dawbarns. They were selling the same house twice as their client accepted two offers but did not tell either party! Fraser Dawbarns, processing both offers, lost paperwork and delayed the purchase many times. Hugely unprofessional. Will be contacting Ombudsman and media to highlight this shabby behaviour.

Really professional. My solicitor Kim Cross was extremely helpful and went through the parts I didnt understand in a way you understand. Always replied to my emails. Very happy with the work she done for me. I would recommend her and the company to anyone. Very pleased with the manner to which she worked.

We were initially approached at Tesco by a supposed legal adviser who came to our house offering 'free legal advice'. We then went to see a proper solicitor who explained everything in detail and made us feel confident that they were the experts and the other company were just salespeople with limited legal knowledge. Do it once do it right.
