As a young lady I was really worried about having the wool pulled over my eyes by solicitors. My experience with Express Solicitors was pleasant from start to finish. Unlike the other Solicitors I enquired with, ES was never pushy with me and I didn't have continuous phone calls from them trying to convince me to hire them. I spoke with ES and advised what I was looking for from Solicitors and what I wanted to achieve as compensation. Anna Wilde was my solicitor.

I noticed on her email sign off she is only a trainee. If she is as good as she is now at a training level, I have every faith that Anna will go on to be very successful in her career. In regards to compensation, I was awarded triple the amount I expected. Anna kept me updated on everything, communication was really good. There was a period of time we was waiting for a medical professional to send in their report for my case and the delay was from the medical professionals side - Anna still emailed to keep me updated, she was still chasing and pushing for the report.

Nothing was ever too much and if she had to explain something to me 3 times so that I understood, she would. A couple of times I responded to Anna, she was out of office and I couldn't believe it - even though she wasn't working, she still responded within a couple of hours. I honestly could not thank Anna enough. I am so grateful to her and would definitely be in contact with her if I needed her support for another issue.

Do not use their service even if you know your case is a win! They will only handle easy cases that doesn't need to go to court and they get 35% of your overall claim! My case was slightly complicated for them as the landlord or the property agency owner was not responsive to their emails and even though they told me that I would win the case if it went to the court they asked me to pay 500-750 for court fees!

So technically they expect 35% reward just for sending emails WITHOUT HAVING TO FIGHT THE CASE IN THE COURT! So TECHNICALLY the term they use "NO WIN NO FEE" doesn't have any meaning because THEY ARE NOT FIGHTING ANY CASE! They just want easy money without taking a tinniest risk!

Personal Injury claim following a traffic collision. I received regular updates from the team at McKays throughout the process and they managed to get a favourable settlement. I would not hesitate to use this company again!

Amy conducted my tenancy deposit case brilliantly, achieving a result that an average solicitor would probably not have accomplished. However, I gave only 3/5 stars, because the case was not really expedited by our side and communications with me were poor and incomplete. Also, I never received a detailed billing note and as the mandate was regulated by a 35% contingency fee, I guess I paid significantly more than what it would have been under hourly basis. Whilst contingency fees remove the burden of the upfront payment, you will be likely overcharged at the end.

Have been dealing with Amy for 18 months and she has been nothing but helpful and supportive despite the other party delaying things repeatedly. Would highly recommend McKays to anyone looking for a professional competent service.
