We got recommended by a family member to use kitsons first time buying a house so we had no idea on the process our solicitor was great at the start she then left the company and we had someone else deal with our house purchase. We had to always chase them up they never answered there phone calls so we were always on edge not knowing what was going on.
When your paying someone a lot of money you expect them to answer you right? Nope not this company it made our house experience painful because we always had to chase and if we didn't then we didn't know how far along we were in getting the keys. And when there were a few issues we didn't get to find out until late afternoon when they've known all day.
Maybe there just to busy right now with everyone buying a house and they can't give you the service they say they give you. We will not be using this company again. And we are so glad we have the keys and have completed our house purchase.

Dreadful Service, This company dealt with the probate for both of my parents when they died. They were very reluctant to pay over funds as they are released, making excuse after excuse as to why they had not paid, they needed constant chasing up and delayed, delayed delayed whilst they had huge sums residing in their bank account that should have been paid over to my siblings and me.
Because of the poor service when my father died, my siblings and I completed all of the probate forms that we could and agreed a fee with Kitsons for "rubber stamping" them. Again, they delayed, delayed, delayed, then tried to overcharge us and then hung onto the last payment without notifying us for months and only paid up once reminded, giving yet another excuse. AVOID

First time visit to Kitsons Torquay. What a surprise. I was expecting stuffy, sombre offices, and staff. Nothing could be further from that. Fantastic bright, open offices. Masses of parking space. Receptionists were very warm and welcoming. The Solicitor we met with, Rebecca, was informative and very clear in her explanations. Would recommend this firm. PS. The coffee was great too.

My wife and I have used Kitsons since moving to Torquay. All of the staff there are genuinely warm, friendly and very helpful. They always look after my wife who is disabled. The professional staff are approachable, patient, attentive and very efficient. It's so obvious that genuine customer care runs right through Kitsons' culture, which is a credit to the Partners and everyone there - 1st Class! Thank you.
