Established in 1985, Parker Dann is a professional practice of Chartered Town Planning Consultants based in Lewes, East Sussex. We advise on a variety of development and construction projects and provide advice on all aspects of the planning system including planning applications and appeals and providing guidance on the development potential of land.
Based in Lewes in East Sussex, we are a Chartered Town Planning Consultancy that has been in practice for over 30 years. As experienced town planners, our approach to planning problems, including project management skills and assembling teams of associated professions, has borne results highly valued by our clients.
Chris has been a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 1998 and has extensive knowledge of town planning issues across the country. He has advised on a number of major development projects including urban extensions, urban regeneration projects and large scale residential and commercial developments.
With the expert guidance of Adrian Moore and his team at Parker Dann we have been able to realise our ambition of creating a sustainable farm enterprise while retaining one of the last commercial orchards in East Sussex. From the change of use of our existing house into a farm shop and tea room, construction of a new fireplace and craft centre, conversion of the original farm shop into a new butchers, conversion of an existing packhouse into industrial units and adequate road signage, all in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Through our experience of obtaining planning permission and listed building consent for previous historic environment and conservation area projects, we recognise the importance of ensuring that alterations and development projects relating to listed properties must assimilate well within their sensitive surroundings.

The Parker Dann team have an exceptional level of experience dealing with very challenging projects and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. In my experience they have always found the right balance of addressing the demands of planning authorities and the client's aims. Their ability to engage with all interested parties including planning officers, architect, client and those potentially affected by proposed schemes, is particularly impressive.

These people purport to be professionals. Yet they openly mock concerned residents on social media. Maybe they need to go on a marketing course to learn that to build a respected brand you talk about the good you do without pointing out the bad in other brands/people. They employ ex Wealden District Council staff who have already identified areas to develop whilst still at WDC then switch to the preferred supplier side. Very unethical.
