I required some legal advice on a fairly urgent, plus also somewhat complicated, matter to do with employment & contract law. I found myself talking with Pardoes, initially with Alex (Legal Assistance) whom then coordinated the opening of a case which was taken on by Maeve (a Pardoes Partner & Employment Lawyer) whom was most professional and who readily grasped the outline of the problem that I was facing.
In very short-order, that then led to an online meeting with Maeve, plus her colleague Nigel (Contract Law specialist) and also with Julian (Legal Counsel) - all ably assisted by Alex - in order that the legal nuances of the case, for what proved to be a multi-jurisdictional / multi-disciplinary and rather complicated problem, were fully understood; such that the best course of further action might be determined. Whilst such advice might not perhaps be described as 'coming cheap', it must also be considered that professionalism & quality never is; and, therein, I consider that the service & advice provided by Pardoes was absolutely first class and value for money. Overall, I can thoroughly recommend Pardoes for provision of legal advice. Many thanks again to all at Pardoes for your rapid response and excellent service.

Was very helpful and friendly, always good communication and wasn't on the phone and sending letters every 5 mins like some. Genuinely tried to keep the cost affordable and was sympathetic to my circumstances. Even managed to save me 8,500 which at the time we had finished our business, but intervened to help, thank you JR

I had fantastic help and support from Laura and Debbie at Pardoes when extending my flat lease and then selling it. The communication was great and they kept me involved and up to date throughout the process. Being in the hands of such experienced professionals made a big difference and I would recommend them to anyone seeking similar legal support.

Laura, Debbie and everyone we spoke to at Pardoes were fantastic throughout our house purchase. It wasn't a straightforward purchase for us and there were bumps along the way but we could always rely on them to make things as smooth as possible. As first time buyers it was daunting but they always made everything really easy to understand and were available to explain anything to us whenever we needed. Thank you so much for all of your help, we will certainly be coming back for any future purchases :

Incompetent - do not use! By the time I realised how terrible they were I could not afford to move to another company as it was our first house buy and would have endangered the purchase! I used this company to purchase our first house. I found them to be ineffective and seriously endangered the purchase of the house - do not use them! Our solicitor couldn't spare the time (or didn't care enough) to explain the process, communication throughout was terrible causing large delays and costing us considerably more both in rent and charges.
We consistently had to correct mistakes made by the solicitor - incorrect address of the house we were buying on the legal documents, incorrectly spelling my partners name on the legal documentation and not realising until the time of purchase that we weren't able to use a help to buy isa, meaning we had to find 2k 2 weeks before completion! I complained twice and rather than pardoes acknowledging the terrible service and quality of service they had provided they brushed it under the rug.
Eventually I was transferred to a solicitor in the Yeovil office who was very competent, but frankly I would never ever recommend using them again. They clearly are more interested in saving pennies and (them selves!) than delivering a quality service.

Poor experience. Booked a meeting a few weeks back for 11am. I called to confirm the appointment 4 days before and the lady I was booked to see said she had a hospital appointment so changed to 12 on the same date. Got a call at 9am on the day of the appointment cancelling it due to the lady having a hospital appointment. I gave up and went to another company.

I have been using Amanda Shaw from Pardoes for over a year. I have had a lot of contact with her, face to face, phone and email, she has also represented me in court several times. She has a strong ethical and moral compass and is very upfront, but respectful. I have been very happy with the out come of all the work she has done for me.
