Mediation is a voluntary process that can help two sides to reach an acceptable solution to their differences. A mediator can help both to examine ideas and options in a neutral, safe environment where you are both free to express your options. First both parties are invited separately for an initial interview: the MIAM (Mediation Information Assessment Meeting). After successful MIAM meetings the actual mediation meetings can begin.
