Founded in 1897 by Adam Fletcher Greenhalgh, the law practice has grown from its humble beginnings in Wood Street, Bolton, to become one of the areas most highly respected and successful firms. For over 120 years the firm has seen many changes including its relocation, initially to Acresfield Mall and finally to its present day location in Mawdsley Street in 1947.

Greg French joined the property department at AFG LAW in 2002. He became a partner and head of the department in 2004. Greg's areas of expertise include: wills, inheritance tax planning, residential and commercial conveyancing, commercial leases and probate work.
