The worst of the lot. I thought I have seen it all until we used this guys. They are Arrogant, Racist and untruthful. They deliberately waste your time and tell you if you want us to move faster pay more. The Deed had to be signed and witnessed they rejected the Broker even after giving his FCA number. They said because he had no website we need to go redo it.

A simple transaction that should last 3 months took 7 months. At every point the solicitor when asking we complete a task kept threatening us that if we don't do it she won't undertake the next task.

Excellent service, Jonathan provided good communication and turned things around quickly. Good conveyancers are a rare find, I highly recommend!

I don't really leave reviews, but Roberts Crossley Solicitors deserve credit. We found the perfect house in our budget, it was roughly 8 weeks until the stamp duty relief deadline, middle of the pandemic and for some reason the seller wanted it completed before or by the same deadline, everyone we called laughed at us. Stating it would be impossible to close before that time. Robert personally answered the phone, as he usually does, spoke in minor depth about the situation and said it's a tight deadline, but it's possible.

No guarantees. The mortgage provider found cracking in the mortar, we had engineer surveys completed, HS2 was nearby and that needed mortgage approval, quotes. It wasn't a straight forward process and these things all ate into our tight schedule. Robert was always available on the phone, no assistant or proxy talking to us. Because of his fast responses and hard work we completed in time, we've got the home we wanted and somehow Roberts fees were less than we were quoted by the solicitors who laughed at the deadline and wouldn't expedite any service.

Plus meeting the deadline saved us thousands in stamp duty fees. I've bought and sold twice before and the other solicitors were always hell to deal with, that said I never could even get correspondence from them. Just months of being ignored or speaking to an assistant who had no idea where the process was at and no ability to direct me to speed up the process. I would not go to another solicitor now. I just hope Robert wasn't too frustrated having to deal with my impatience.

We had a nightmare year of properties falling through and countless delays from the rest of the chain. Ben Jordan was brilliant throughout. He was friendly, professional, quick to reply and chase things when needed, especially when lesser solicitors weren't pulling their weight. Could not have asked for more

My experience with RC legal was good. I would use them again. I had a few bumps at the beginning, as the person who was first assigned my case did not pick it up and it had to be reassigned. John Roberts was my case handler for the process, and he was very accessible. I upgraded to the express service and it was worth it. My property was a leasehold being purchased with a mortgage. The case had some extra work around lease covenants and John was a great help at chasing the other side. I would use them again.

Amazing service every single time! I have used this firm for a few property sale and purchases and they are now my go to place for any future transactions. Knowledgeable and supportive team including support from the management when needed. Can't recommend them enough. In fact I have been recommending them to family, friends and colleagues.

Painfull inadequate service, they charged hidden fees throughout the process. I was quoted £700 ended up paying £1300 in fees alone. They refused to continue on the day of completion as I apparently owed them another £155..

Soo many mistakes were made, names spelt wrong, addresses wrong, failure to call me back when promised, failed to answer their phones during open hours. House condition was sub par on completion agency failed to file against previous owners. I was overall completely let down by their service.

Very Fast and efficient on my Apartment Sale. I instructed them online and received the information pack through by email the same day. My transaction was underway as soon as I returned my signed forms. I had my contract through to sign the following day!!!! The bill was exactly the same amount as I was quoted. I made them aware of the fact that it was a leasehold apartment which was included in their estimate. On the day of completion funds were paid into my bank account at lunchtime that day. I've recommended them to my work colleague who is also very impressed.

Roberts Crossley Solicitors were absolutely brilliant for me, they were quick in responding to my mortgage company and completed all searches efficiently meaning that there was no delay in the process. They were also thorough, checking each element of the land registry etc searches, highlighting to me an issue with ownership of a piece of land that I was not aware of.

I found all members of staff I dealt with to be friendly and helpful, always getting back to me quickly when I had left messages for them. Overall I was really pleased with the service they provided.

John and Ella worked so hard to push our transaction through and get us into our new home on time. It was a particularly difficult transaction, not helped at all by the Seller's solicitors who seemed to take an eternity to respond to any letters or email. But I really can not fault Roberts Crossley and think they deserve five stars.

This firm dealt with the sale and purchase when I moved house. They are very thorough, speedy and were constantly on top of things and chasing the other sides up. I was expecting a large bill and instead it was very modest. I really do recommend them. I dealt with Catherine and Rachael, they were amazing.

I have dealt with Roberts Crossley on several occasions and have always had an excellent service from them. A vendor threatened to pull out if we didn't complete within 2 weeks and Jack pulled out all the stops to make sure it happened - very, very impressed. Their fees have never been more than their initial quote. They never carry out searches if you have requested them not to. I will definitely carry on using, Jack is a credit to the firm.
