The price, depending on complexity and the overall value of the estate, for a standard Probate, average between 1,000 and 10,000 + VAT for estates that are uncontested and have UK assets only. This is based on an hourly charging rate, depending on time spent working on your case. Our charging rates vary between 150 - 200 depending on the level of fee earner dealing with your case.

We sold our home and purchased another with Devonalds acting as our solicitors. Whilst the sale of our own property was smooth, the purchase of our new home was full of issues and delays (none of which we're Devonalds fault), as the vendor's own solicitors we're moving very slowly and the house we were purchasing was somewhat unusual and came with some unusual quirks that needed to be resolved before we completed.
Despite this, Luke and his team at Devonalds went above and beyond to try to keep the ball rolling on our purchase, speaking with both the vendor's solicitor and estate agent to get answers to outstanding queries and push for a completion date that was sooner, rather than later. I wouldn't hesitate to go with Devonalds again in future.

Highly recommend Devonalds Solicitors, their service is impeccable and I cannot thank the team enough for their help and support in buying our new home. Buying and selling Is an already horrendously stressful process anyway, and we had the most ridiculous experience due to what can only be described as another solicitor firms sheer incompetence. However, Alex and the team were super efficient, very supportive and most importantly took the time to answer all the 'stupid questions' so we truly understood the entire process and guided us every step of the way. We were referred to Rhian in treorchy for our first house purchase, and she was absolutely amazing! Solicitors on the other side of the sale made several mistakes, but thanks to Rhain being persistent and extremely helpful we picked up our keys yesterday and couldn't be happier! I am sorry to say I am unable to recommend the conveyancing team of this firm. Mine was an uncomplicated case, the sale only of a vacant property to a cash buyer with no chain. But from the first day I encountered carelessness, neglect and unnecessary delays. I was also charged more than promised in the original quotation, but was refused any refund. Avoid.

We went with the Tonypandy branch to do the conveyancing work on our house and the service we received was outstanding! Glenn was professional throughout and Hayley was always prompt and helpful. Lovely friendly solicitor for probate who talked us through everything and gave us 2 different options. They had a fair price and were very honest with what I needed.
