This woman is not to be trusted and if you have her as a trustee or a executor I suggest you do some research https://www.facultyoffice.org.uk/notaries/governance/disciplinary-decisions-of-the-court-of-faculties/ and get a trusted solicitor's advice on how to proceed. She is no longer a Notary Public having been STRUCK OFF by the Court of the Faculties following their upholding of serious complaints against her. It has taken many years for us to see some form of justice.

I'm surprised and disappointed to discover this creature is still alive and functioning. A true low hanging fruit merchant; who targets the old, gullible, and certain brain washed non-binaries. When I acted against her during 2009 and 2010, it was discovered (Planning Inspectorate Appeal Ref: APP/B1740/C/06/2019865) that She actually started to operate out of the premises before obtaining planning permission from The New Forest District Council to do so.

A five month investigation in to the service of Ms. C. Coats to her client, my mother, by the LEGAL COMPLAINTS SERVICE found that Ms. C. Coats had given poor service; and upheld several other "heads of complaint". A further two month investigation decided upon by the LEGAL SERVICES OMBUDSMAN agreed that poor service was clearly given, and was critical of the Legal Complaints Service non action.

Despite employing all the standard dirty little tricks, C.Coats was eventually forced to comply with legally enforced instructions to surrender a will and deeds unlawfully passed to her by a third party. A disgrace as a legal advisor and as a human; avoid and ignore.

Appalling service. 'Free consultations' are not free, don't be fooled, she will try and charge you for every word. Attempted to charge me for work that I had cancelled within 14 days and then had the cheek to say that it was my fault that she had already written the documents up. Either her secretaries don't know how to relay messages or Caroline doesn't know how to use a phone because she never calls you back.

Completely overpriced services from someone who isn't even a qualified solicitor. If there was a 0 star option I would click it. This incident is being referred to every legal body that I can complain to as this woman should not be allowed to scam people in this way.

Appalling service (for my widowed mother) - even fraudulent (in my non-legal opinion) - my mother was invoiced for work that did not need doing. We can't ever get hold of Caroline, always on holiday or out of the office, and her staff can't answer any questions - refuses to engage (despite being a trustee) - I have gone to the Notary Society, Faculty Office of Notaries and the Legal Ombudsman to complain. I personally would never use this company again.

Beware. Will happily take your money to write up legal documents. But when it comes to put them into place or discuss them (all part of the service already paid for) it is astonishingly difficult to get an appointment or any advice. We've been trying for 3 weeks now and just keep getting fobbed off with empty promises of phonecalls that never come.

Growing old is characterised by a gradual diminution in the range of activities at which one was previously competent, and an increasing need to invoke the assistance of others.
