A very unflexible employer. They made it very difficult for me to manage my complex childcare arrangements. I subsequently had to leave.

Cutting staff pay by 20% if they work from home? Are you reducing their working hours by 20%. Or are you incapable of performance management of staff that aren't productive working from home? Disgusting ethics.

"Second class pay for second class lawyers": there's a recruiting ad doomed to fail. We use competent remote work as bait during our expansion while you punish your best and brightest. Wish we were competitors. Some of your up and coming juniors will be.

Atrocious. Incompetent. Backward. Untrustworthy. Avoid like the plague.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I went to James Quarmby because the HMRC was claiming that I had overstayed in the U.K. to be deemed as a non resident. I asked James to take on this case. I asked him and his partner to let me know how much tax I would have to pay. James said this was not relevant! Thousands of pounds later we lost the case and it turns out that I owe less that SH's bill! Stay away from this company

My dad used to work for the firm when it was opposite Saint Paul's Cathedral. We used to watch the Lord Mayor's show from the office. Great place to work with lovely people. Miss those days.

Critical: Quality William Payne is a junior solicitor with very little experience of law in general. He lacks common sense and bends the law to suit his required outcome. We are reporting him to the law society. Do not use this company.

Very arrogant staff, especially Mr Andrew Whately, who is the Business Systems Manager. He judges people without knowing about them and thinks everyone is below him. Looks like a reputable firm, shame has really nasty people like Mr Andrew Whately in the office.
